  1. Best part about this evening has been Alan Smith saying Namaste.
  2. This is vile.
  3. Thank you. An astute vote! Will you come and watch the new transitioning team? It will be the focus of my tenure. M to F, F to M pathways for both teams. Might just swap the teams around completely next year. Bud light on the concourses. 😉
  4. I have always been someone of the opinion that wouldn’t want a fan on the board… but someone made a good point to me the other day. As long as it’s right person, it’s worth taking into account a fan has probably watched the team home and way for seasons, has a fairly good level of the club and it’s history, traditions so is in touch with those and with that in mind, surely with that decent base-level knowledge, they’d be in a far more informed position than many to have a say at what happens at their football club, surely? Made me think. And then I thought…
  5. Shiseters run right through the club in the footballing positions. From club directors to our recruitment team to our players. Every single one of them a Moi in their respective fields. anyway, when he did tell them I’m pretty sure the message was delivered in a calm and relaxed tone.
  6. I applaud you for your bravery in coming out as an elephant. Do you have any preferred pronouns with which I can address you by?
  7. What a way to denounce my scouse lineage. You do know this is the day and age you can be anything you want, irrespective of biological facts?
  8. Would love that but I don’t think he’d bother swapping Boro for us. He’d be mad to.
  9. I could never, ever, ever stand Steven Gerrard as a player and my dislike for him continued as he progressed to a manager. For me he was a selfish player and as a coach, I thought he was, well, reliant on being able to steamroll the Scottish league at a convenient time. His limitations were perhaps brought to bear at Villa and as he was quite abrasive, he evidently rubbed the players up the wrong way. That said… sometimes, someone just fits a situation. If we’re gonna go for it in the Championship, I think we need someone who could perhaps command the respect of our ragtag group of losers and mould them into a functional if not spectacular unit. I will underline this again; I really don’t like or rate Steven Gerrard but I can’t help but think that he could DAJFU next season if/when we’re relegated. I think with him having his reputation to restore somewhat and us looking for, and I hate to say it and as much it irks me, a leader of sorts, he could be a good candidate. My feeling is less based on any tactical acumen from him (I’ve seen very little) but more based on his leadership and motivational qualities. I just think he’s one of those Roy Keane type managers who could squeeze every last bit of sweat from his teams, especially if he gets off to a good start and there is a ‘feel good’ factor around the place. I feel horrible for saying that, despite my 1/8th scouse heritage.
  10. Totally agree. Minging side. Like Forest. Like Wolves. Etc etc.
  11. We’re lucky it’s not over by now. It should be. Somehow, we’re still clinging on but slowly but surely we’re getting cut adrift. I find it actually quite maddening that we’re not gone yet. I’ve resigned myself to the fact given where we are and there is literally no hope in salvaging the season because of how poor we are, let alone who we might play. Part of me just wants it over with, one way or the other.
  12. We’d dilly-dally and someone else will get him.
  13. And they will answer them, no doubt, in calm and relaxed manner.
  14. Can’t wait to see Moi chasing shadows again. Worryingly, he can’t even catch his own one
  15. Agreed. Been saying it for years, but these useless c**** constantly go under the radar 🙄
  16. West Ham we’re sh1t. Seriously sh1t. However, we start with 10 men often and quite frankly, even with 11 we’re so powderpuff. Ughhhh. Grim future ahead.
  17. 100%. And all the people who went in on him when he left will cry foul again.
  18. Agree at his worst he was 6/10 performer but showed elevated flashes of brilliances sometimes which made him 8/10 in some games, but never consistently. Way above some of the rubbish we’ve had in recent times.
  19. Just to add some weight behind the pound for pound stuff, Anders Svensson today would cost £1.275m with inflation.
  20. Obviously, no real set rules here but I was just thinking who pound for pound has been Saints best and worst players in the last few years? (Free transfers included, as wages were still paid!) Aside from academy players, what’s the best and worst value we’ve got with some of our signings? They’ll defo be some positive and negative suggestions here I’m sure. First couple - Lambert, 2m. Schniederlin, 1m. Would even say players like Bertrand too; had his best years with us and really, was bought for a snip. On the negative side - Hoedt, Vestergaard, Carillo, Elyounoussi. Theres plenty more, but I’ll hand it over so everyone can have a turn!
  21. Pleasure Martin! Any future games let me know and I’ll be sure to help and if I can’t, I’m sure someone else will! Glad you both had a great time!
  22. Arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh 😂
  23. If I could bottle ‘relaxed and confident’ - that’s exactly what our recruitment team runs on. Stellar stuff.
  24. That truly will test our mettle. Do we have it in us? We’ve not shown it so far compared to the other scraps we’ve been in seasons gone by. ☹️
