I sincerely hope that isn’t true. We went to that group of utter losers for feedback? Never let the tail wag the dog.

Posts like this make me want it over with! Love the positivity but I think we’re truly cooked. They’d be good if we looked like we’ve got a collective set on us but we don’t, sadly.

Agree. There needs to be a huge mindset change at the club, from the top downwards… as it’s from the top that those kind of things are set. Currently, we’re just a group of utter losers that have been spouting self-congratulatory shite since post-Koeman.

I was thinking about the must haves post-Citeh for the Champ. Adams and Armstrong should be a decent forward line and if we can somehow keep Tella and get him functioning here that would also be excellent. McCarthy will be fine for the Champ. Would love to keep ahold of Sulemana and Alcaraz but that might be wishful thinking. DCC should be fine and probably the sort of defensive leader we need in a mud and guts league. Perraud would be ok also. Bree as well, maybe. I see Tall Paul being a Carillo style write off, loaned to somewhere in Europe to get rid of his wages. Same with Orsic. Until their contracts run down. KWP, JWP, Salisu and Lavia will be off, no way they’re staying. Don’t care much for the other City ‘starlets’ Bazunu, Edozie and Larios. Larios will certainly be completely unsuitable for the Championship if he doesn’t pack on a bit of muscle and height in the summer. Diallo and S Armstrong not too bothered about either. ABK will go and I suspect Bednarek has had enough of us as much as we’ve had of him. AMN will return to Arsenal, Moi, Theo and Willy are all out of contract in the summer. I see zero reason to keep any of the above. Mara - really not sure what to do with him. Or Aribo. Tino - if we can persuade him to stay and keep him fit, he’ll be useful in the Championship and the regular football with us, if only for a season, should see his stock rise further. Djenepo will probably linger around and be in and out of the lineups in varying positions next season. Somehow we have to find a balance between trimming the fat, persuading some players who can give us a good chance of a promotion push and moving on deadwood. Hell of a challenge.

I think that’s how our awesome recruitment team find players as well.

Stinking rotten cesspit of a club.

Lovely stuff.

Best part about this evening has been Alan Smith saying Namaste.

This is vile.

Thank you. An astute vote! Will you come and watch the new transitioning team? It will be the focus of my tenure. M to F, F to M pathways for both teams. Might just swap the teams around completely next year. Bud light on the concourses. 😉

I have always been someone of the opinion that wouldn’t want a fan on the board… but someone made a good point to me the other day. As long as it’s right person, it’s worth taking into account a fan has probably watched the team home and way for seasons, has a fairly good level of the club and it’s history, traditions so is in touch with those and with that in mind, surely with that decent base-level knowledge, they’d be in a far more informed position than many to have a say at what happens at their football club, surely? Made me think. And then I thought…

Shiseters run right through the club in the footballing positions. From club directors to our recruitment team to our players. Every single one of them a Moi in their respective fields. anyway, when he did tell them I’m pretty sure the message was delivered in a calm and relaxed tone.

I applaud you for your bravery in coming out as an elephant. Do you have any preferred pronouns with which I can address you by?
-
What a way to denounce my scouse lineage. You do know this is the day and age you can be anything you want, irrespective of biological facts?
-
Would love that but I don’t think he’d bother swapping Boro for us. He’d be mad to.

I could never, ever, ever stand Steven Gerrard as a player and my dislike for him continued as he progressed to a manager. For me he was a selfish player and as a coach, I thought he was, well, reliant on being able to steamroll the Scottish league at a convenient time. His limitations were perhaps brought to bear at Villa and as he was quite abrasive, he evidently rubbed the players up the wrong way. That said… sometimes, someone just fits a situation. If we’re gonna go for it in the Championship, I think we need someone who could perhaps command the respect of our ragtag group of losers and mould them into a functional if not spectacular unit. I will underline this again; I really don’t like or rate Steven Gerrard but I can’t help but think that he could DAJFU next season if/when we’re relegated. I think with him having his reputation to restore somewhat and us looking for, and I hate to say it and as much it irks me, a leader of sorts, he could be a good candidate. My feeling is less based on any tactical acumen from him (I’ve seen very little) but more based on his leadership and motivational qualities. I just think he’s one of those Roy Keane type managers who could squeeze every last bit of sweat from his teams, especially if he gets off to a good start and there is a ‘feel good’ factor around the place. I feel horrible for saying that, despite my 1/8th scouse heritage.

Totally agree. Minging side. Like Forest. Like Wolves. Etc etc.

We’re lucky it’s not over by now. It should be. Somehow, we’re still clinging on but slowly but surely we’re getting cut adrift. I find it actually quite maddening that we’re not gone yet. I’ve resigned myself to the fact given where we are and there is literally no hope in salvaging the season because of how poor we are, let alone who we might play. Part of me just wants it over with, one way or the other.
-
We’d dilly-dally and someone else will get him.
-
And they will answer them, no doubt, in calm and relaxed manner.

Can’t wait to see Moi chasing shadows again. Worryingly, he can’t even catch his own one

Agreed. Been saying it for years, but these useless c**** constantly go under the radar 🙄

West Ham we’re sh1t. Seriously sh1t. However, we start with 10 men often and quite frankly, even with 11 we’re so powderpuff. Ughhhh. Grim future ahead.
