I think the closing of the loan window is the most significant. I think that a lot of clubs are getting around the transfer window by signing places on-loan with an agreement to buy. The transfer window only seems to work for the big clubs in the Premier League who are playing in Europe and have to agree squad lists. So I think that we could in theory "buy" someone if the club were prepared to discuss a "sale" and then agree a loan. But it looks like that window may also be closing...

Some friendly advice for those updating their initial predictions as I think I've found a bug in the software (or should I say feature to quote some software developers I know). I originally had the Bournemouth game down as a 1:1 draw but updated my score on Monday night to 2:1. However, I didn't notice that when you "Save" your revised score it actually resets to 0:0. You actually have to enter the score again and Save it again before the system records it properly. As a result I was listed as not having submitted a score for the Bournemouth match. No matter but I thought I would pass it on.

Seeing as Pele signed for them this work and ex-Oppo players always score against us. I'm going for 2:1 or 3:1 to the Opposition Team.
