  1. Thank you Markus. I will never forget that you saved my football club from oblivion. I wish you had been given more time to watch your team play. RIP.
  2. Or maybe to the tune of "He plays on the left etc.." "He behaves like a tw*t, he behaves like a tw*t, Adam Lallana behaves like a tw*t" or something stronger ....
  3. Maybe, just maybe that we have cut out the tumour from the team and RK can bring them all back together. Probably wishful thinking that we can persuade Morgan and Dejan to stay now.
  4. From our old friend Alex Crook on twitter. Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook 6m Just been told some pretty explosive stuff re: Adam Lallana's departure from #saintsfc which I will reveal later. Deal now done
  5. And wages may also be a factor. It is total player cost.
  6. Football is in the age of player power. Boards, football associations and fans have little to no control anymore. Get over it.
  7. We are never going to compete with the top 4 or 5 in the league. They need a world class first eleven to compete for the highest club honours. In this respect Shaw has outgrown us since he is going to be a top quality England full back for the next decade. We have sold him to fund an overall strengthening of the squad. A defence is only as strong as its weakest link and therefore the selling of Shaw might lead to some overall improvement. I am disappointed that Shaw is leaving us. It is a reflection of the money in the modern game. I am a bit concerned that we are immediately looking to replace with cheaper foreign players as I believed Ralph when he said that having a core England team was one of our USPs.
  8. This. If any alleged disloyalty reported in the media is proved to actually be true. Given the focus only on themselves I have no sympathy any longer for players who simply expect the crowd to support them when they put in poor performances. They still seem so surprised when the crowd quickly turns - if they want to be treated simply as paid entertainers then they need to entertain every minute of every game they play or expect the customer to vent their disappointment. If they want the crowd to get behind them then they need to give something more back to the fans and that to me means some honesty and loyalty. Don't kiss the shirt or make statements about loving the club or that you are so happy to be here if you flee to the next big thing that catches your eye within a week.
  9. He must know Koeman then.
  10. This.
  11. Interesting that he states the aim of the five year plan was to go from league 1 to top half of Premier League. Nothing about the european ambitions.
  12. His dad just wants to know which of our players that MoPo is going to bid for. Simples.
  13. While I would like to thank him for his work with the team, his lack of loyalty is a very poor example of humanity.
  14. Inspired humour.
  15. I think he may pop up in Milan. Wasn't their a snippet recently from an Italian journalist that he was coveted by Milan?
  16. Yes, sorry you are right!
  17. The Reading equaliser where Guly fails to come off the line and challenge the header in 2011/2012 season. So annoying.
  18. My mate, a die hard Watford fan, said last night that they were excited by Vydra coming back to them on loan for the coming season. It seems that Udinese (who share the same owners as Watford) don't want to sell him but they are happy to loan him out to give him a shout at playing for his national team.

  20. Plus plays at international level and has champions league experience and is committed to the club 150%.
  21. According to the restaurant locators at mcdonalds.co.uk and kfc.co.uk, they do appear to be close together in Millbrook close to the A35. Sign looks rather dry - has it not been raining in Southampton much today? Certainly rained all day in the Midlands.
  22. There but for the Grace of Liebherr. They are so far below us now that I feel sorry for them and all these chants are (a) sh1t and (b) childish.
  23. Lots of media reports this morning about Man Utd joining the race. I hope the Telegraph article is true.
  24. Why are there no links to Luke Shaw on the 'Out' list?
