I think Kanchelskis is the only player to have scored in the three derbies but not the only player to have played in them. I believe Michael Ball also holds that record and there may be others? Michael Ball never played for saints though.

2nd place and Automatic. But when? Brighton are deserved champions but would be nice to beat them and guarantee auto promotion on the same day. Would need lots to go our way but would be my prefered way to finish the season.

Great post Halo - and certainly sums up how I'm feeling about being a Saints supporter at the moment. I'm also only an occassional poster. You have a few years on me, and like many on here I've never actually experienced the joy of seeing my club promoted (though I'm sure the "fun" of those relegation scraps from the premiership during the 90s are comparable). Can't wait for my first Saints promotion, and lets hope its not 33 years until the next one.

Well I'm going. Not an ST holder and usually only make a handful of games a season. I'd imagine there are a few like me who would want to (a) pay their respects to ML and (b) see the league champions elect kick start their season. I reckon we'll get over 25K. Just a guess mind.
