Last day of the transfer window and we’re in for a loan for a talented but injury plagued chap from Merseyside. He has a lovely personality, great attitude and a real affinity for SFC from when he was a kid. However his record over the last few seasons has been pretty bad. Loads of people including me are sceptical that it’s just a huge waste of money. It can’t possibly work out well. But Is it me, or is anyone else got a feeling of deja vu?

Probably not a popular choice but - Tadinari Lee I don't get to see matches very often but I was there (vs Derby?) when Chun Lee scored that belter and did his 'archer' celebration. I did enjoy his constant bustling style as well, not that we got it see it much.

Really want Cherno More to get through against Minsk tonight. They are my 'second team' as my wife is from Varna (Bulgaria) and my Nephew plays for Cherno More kids team. Good place for an away tie actually, a port town not dissimilar to Southampton (although Southampton has more Eastern Europeans in it). But it's hot, has beachs, is cheap, a choice of titty bars and the airport isn't too bad now they built a new terminal recently.

The catch is that he has ACTUALLY signed for Arsenal and they are just loaning him to us for a year.

Unfortunately Alpine, you have just demonstrated why suffering from depression is so hard. Depression is an illness, same as any other, in this case a chemical imbalance in the brain's neurotransmitters. It is often carried genetically and can last a lifetime, going in and out of remission. You wouldn't criticise a cancer patient for having a visually unattractive tumor. Likewise you probably shouldn't criticise a sufferer of depression for being miserable or acting in a socially disagreeable manner. It's just a symptom , plain and simple. Money, birds, fast cars, status are irrelevant, same as they would be for any other serious illness. Anyway, I hopes he's ok.

What Alpine said about being too tired also ties in with it. Stan Collymore can't be the only footballer to suffer from this utterly debilitating mental illness. I'm only going from personal experience and it IS just a guess, but it looks and sounds like it to me. If it is the case then I have EVERY sympathy for him.

It was very sad hearing Bentley talk to H & J on Talk****e. From what he said and the tone of his voice I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was suffering from Depression. It wasn't comfortable to listen to.
