I thibk that’s the biggest challenge tbh, this mentality we have developed, the soft underbelly to our team. We need some leaders and a bit of grit in the squad.

We have nothing to play for so it’s the perfect chance to give a few youngsters a chance. Payne, Doyle and Ballard need to be given a chance, either starting or 20-30 mins off the bench. Those we won’t be here next season have no purpose now, Moi, AMN and Walcott can be benched/given the weekend off. Walcott deserves to be given the send off next week but not so the others.

Thought it would be easier to have a separate thread for outgoings given there could/should be plenty leaving. bit early to be looking out loans out imo, players should be sold ideally.

I can see the appeal of an experienced manager of an ex pro who had a successful career. You want someone who the players will respect and see what it takes to make it. something the last two managers haven’t instilled in the players.

Who do you think will be the first to jump ship and leave in the summer?

I work in finance and don’t agree with that at all. Promotions within are common and bring stability to a key area of the business.

Current Director of Finance. Been with the club since 2010 and progressed up within the finance department to current role which he’s been doing since 2017

Well a loan will put debt against the company but share capital wouldn’t. Suspect we won’t find out in these accounts though

The latest set of accounts are due with companies house by tomorrow (for year ending 30june22) The first under SR. It will be interesting to see if any cash injection was done as a loan or share capital. they won’t include the summer spending but still expecting them to show a loss, just depends how big a one.

If we stay up I can easily see 3 of our Jan signings being moved on in the summer, Bree Orisic and Tall Paul. They don’t suit the way Selles plays, very much Jones style signings
