Blackburn and Hull have still got all four teams left to play. Coventry, Boro, Sunderland and ourselves all have 3 play too. There is going to be a lot of challenging games over the run in that’s for sure.

I assume it’s a club we have a good relationship with. Further enough away so the places have to live up there and the club obviously look after our players previously so happy to loan to them in a regular basis.

I think large portion of the loan fee is actually just to cover his wages as we are paying them in return for a higher loan fee.

I guess that leaves Armo to play the more central role again. Brookes and Fraser on the wings with Edozie and Sulemana as the trickier faster options off the bench?

I’d send Holgate back and look to get a loan forward in. its tricky position as we want players to get promoted with but any signing now needs to be good enough for the premier league. We don’t want to be stuck with a signing who we then deem surplus come Aug.

He’ll probably get a game over Xmas when Bedders gets rested for a game but Bedders and THB are settled, working well together and so silly to break it up. Until an injury or loss of form Stephens will have to settle for being backup.

Another game unbeaten is a positive I guess, but last 13 games we haven’t lost we still haven’t gained on Ipswich (32pts) Leicester (31pts) or Leeds (28pts). Too many draws is what’s costing us closing the gap. We need to work on the attacking side of the game, all well and good having high possession but we aren’t creating anything with it. Would rather lose 5% in possession and take a few more chances in the final third. The lack of a striker is really costing us.

The issue is in that 10 we have only gained 2pts on Leicester and Leeds and 3pts on Ipswich. We have needed it to keep pace, all 4 teams are in great form.
