Does anyone know of a good company to use for Basingstoke area? Or any saints fans with a top notch car and wanna earn a few quid :-) It seems as soon as u mention wedding it doubles in price. Not really sure what car I'm looking for I think price will dictate more.

The 26-year-old is currently out of contract and on the lookout for a new club, and joined the South Coast club on a two-day trial on Monday. After an impressive showing in Southampton reserves' 2-0 victory at Woking on Tuesday night, Southampton boss George Burley is thought to be keen to add the defender to his squad. Knol let his contract at Vitesse Arnhem expire this summer as he decided he needed a new challenge after seven years at the club. The player had previously been linked with moves to Sunderland and Cologne. New we took a dutch defender on trial a few years back....

I brought this up in another thead but to keep that one on topic i'll ask it in a new thread instead. Has Ron Vlaar played in a few pre season friendlies for us before? I'm positive we had him on trial when he was younger. If it wasn't him, does anyone know who the young dutch defender i'm thinking of was then please....

If it wasn't him i'd love to know who it was. I'm sure it was him though, i remember we played a dutch centre back (youngster) in a few pre season games a few years back now.

Why would photos be being done at st Mary's? Both Clyne and Gazzaniga went to France to have theirs done as that is where the media team are

I'd always expect the first bid to be rejected. If you were buying a player and they accept your first offer, to me i'd be thinking, ah maybe we should have offered less. First bid go in lower than what you are prepared to pay and test the water..

Adkins mentioned 1 or 2 gk's. I think he was always confident on getting Gazzaniga in, i still think the other one is Butland we are after. Least we have a backup keeper that isn't Forecast now though. I guess in an ideal world he could do with going on loan to a Championship side to play at a higher level than L2.

We need a right mid but I don't think we will get one. Adkins didn't mention it in his round up, we've not been linked to any and just given Guly a new contract

I can't see him being able to get the right back spot from Walker, so just depends if he is happy being back up or not. As his age i think he would be wanting to play first team football, hence why he went to Norwich last season.

He was on loan from WBA in exchange for the having foster last season.
