It's still better to have plenty of options, just in case we can't get the number 1 target, than just focus on one and then what happens if we don't get him. Everyone seems to think deals are taking longer and we are losing out on certain players etcc.. The only real difference is the Internet and sites like twitter. In the past u never used to hear about deals until they were done, now days u can read all about stories and rumours on the net. Some true and some false. I'd rather we took our time and got a deal done on terms we were happy with than bend over backwards and agree to terms not suitable for us.

Still think our progression with this deal will just force the bigger boys to make their move and sign him.

The only way i could see us getting him would be on the basis his contract has a minimum release fee in it, so a bigger club can get him at a later date.

I think we are serious about buying but we will be little more than the club that forces the bigger sides to make their move.
