JR: "The former chairman of Southampton's parent company, Rupert Lowe, is with me in the studio. His involvement in the club stretches back more than a decade. Rupert you're blaming Barclays the bank for pulling the rug but isn't the problem here homegrown? Poor performances on the pitch, worse performances off the pitch?"
RL: "Well I think to get at the truth, Jeff, is actually quite easy. You've only got to go back to the period between 2006 & 2008. I left the club in 2006."
As far as I'm concerned the interview should have ended right there. The man has no shame.
