That link seemed to be for fulham's page?

my thoughts exactly. He's said he'd rather sit on the bench at a massive club then go and actually do some work at a lesser one. No respect for the guy, he should get back into gambling to fill his time! In response to the above post, he's been on mega money since he was a teenage, he doesnt still need that kind of money, and has alot of property anyway which would be a tidy earner.

Ricketts closer to signing than we thought then?

Courtesy of fellow saints web member. My rationale for the last goal in this video being my favourite is the fact the scorer had played only 8 league games that season due to injury, came on as a second half sub at the last league match at the dell against a quality team. Add the great finish, the winning goal, and its my childhood hero: MLT!!!!!!!!!! 'Can you guess what it is yet?!'

I can vouch for this one. Not the best quality, but no downloading required. Just afew annoying ads.

If that was my missus i'd of given her a dry slap to the chops, whilst telling her to pipe down, and offer to fill the man's diesel for him. Hero's like him deserve more respect, especially from biznitches!

That is a depressing web site. I've got mixed feelings for Pulis, on one hand he's the 'professional' footballer who was voted lincoln's, LINCOLN's second worst loan signing ever by their fans. His previous club list is an embarassing list of loans and clubs his dad had moved too, providing strong evidence towards the theory that this was an avenue to allow his son to continue his fantasy of being a pro footballer. Add to this to the fact that he is currently 26 and seems to occasionally get a game with our 'under 21' squad. But on the other, he is employed full time in a role not considered hard graft by many, currently based in the forest setting of marchwood, who must have been on around £500-1000 a week since the age of 19. If he was wise, he'd have been saving every penny for the moment he was awoken from his dream and his career is prematurely cut by a lack of contract offers. I'd like to know his opinion on his career. On a side note, Jeremie Aliadiere is on that list. Was a promising Arsenal youth player. Seems he didnt fullfill his potential. Shame.

Nice suggestions! I was also thinking he looked bond villan-esqe. To me he looks like hes thinking (with cartoon film villan laughter style); "moo,ha,ha,ha,haaaaaaa!"

Likey, thus lighty. Not the end though

When some lucky sth's met Cortese last year it was put to him that the concourse refreshments needed improving, as did the concourses- to make them more inviting to make people want to spend time there before and after matches. Cortese acknowledged all the points raise (coincidently containing nearly all mentioned above) he agreed, and actually said this was on his list (as are automated turnstyles, new P.A system among MANY other improvements required). He was aware of Man City's suspended ceiling concourses and was keen to replicate it here, but ideally, the concourses would need completely re-arranging to get them to the standard he wants. He is very keen for fans to spend more time and thus money in the stadium on match days, the entertainment after matches in the itchen concourse is an experiment to see if this idea is popular among us fans. IIRC, the carlsberg lease ended this season and he said the club are looking to make great improvements to the selection of alcohol available, as well as the options for food. Higher quality food was requested by the fans and accepted by Cortese. In addition to this, local real ales, decent lagers and ciders were noted to be favourable over the usual alcohol suspects found at football stadia. I am hopeful we see some improvements over the summer, even if it is just different alcohol available.

From last night's Awards night:

I can believe that about Redknapp. Back on subject of our club's presentation evening; Loving 'dont you want me baby' being played out as Fonte stepped up to collect his award, and Ed Chamberlain being asked to host!

It is my understanding that Forecast is 'on the bus' for their celebratory trip.

Dicky Chap vs Utd, epic goal against an alright team There have only been two other moments all season that i reacted to as crazily as i did to this goal. These were; Kelvs penalty save against Brighton at home, and Jose's winner against Brighton away. The Brighton connection is a coincidence!

it cant be said now that SMS does not create a great atmosphere

!?!?!!! Maybe if other people outside of the northam and kingsland corner made ANY noise apart from groaning when a pass goes astray, or we score, we might have more of a chance of creating an intimidating atmosphere!! The northam is limited by its capacity, even if the away fans were removed (which the police prevented). It shouldn't be left to those supporters to be the only section of our crowd that prevents us from falling into the library category as Highbury was and the Withdean did only afew weeks ago. Sunday's exhibition match was a prime example of what would happen if the rowdy contingent were hypothetically removed. Every supporter in the stadium is equally responsible for creating a positive atmosphere that our players enjoy and use to their advantage as a confidence and morale boost. As you may have guessed i am a Northam sth, and every game i wish the other sections of the stadium would make more noise in general, and ideally start chants, or at least start clapping sessions to trigger chants etc. -
I'm going to single handedly stick up for solent uni students in general, with the few exceptions, and resent them being tarred with the chav brush!

Steve Bennett, local lad, pretty sure he was one of the group that cycled to the brighton match to raise money for the saints foundation.

Agreed.
