  1. It was obvious there wouldn't be a stream for tonight, if it was a quarter or semi final it would be likely there would be. Solent is on the tunein app, but in my experience the matches arent. It uses the bbc online stream, there was no match commentary, just a generic bbc pre recorded message. I think its something to do with international rights of the radio coverage.
  2. Fair play to him for standing up for himself in circumstances that no one should face at work (outside of the forces). Unfortunately he went well too far in this case and his history is nothing to be proud of.
  3. De Ridder is a winger first and foremost, he's shown he makes a good impact sub, and Adkins has preferred to play him in a central attacking role recently. I prefer him to guly in the same right mid position, but guly suits the one touch quick passing game we are playing currently. With that in mind, i just wish De Ridder got at least the last 30 mins to really get into a game.
  4. Surely ANY pub with sky will be showing it. If not, trash the place!
  5. Luckily for you, you must not have seen many disgusting things in your life, but it sure isn't pleasant! Feel sorry for the guy!
  6. Just check his vids on youtube and you'll see the quality he's got. I prefer him to Guly, despite having different styles. De Ridder is a proper winger who can run down the outside and whip them in. It does seem that Adkins had instructed him to cut inside, and play on the floor with the rest of the guys, but he does provide a different option.
  7. ****ed off i missed the chance to watch the match!! Abit strange they were showing it, but impressive!
  8. laaaaad!
  9. Nice article Chris, an enjoyable read. But i'm in the "he stands at nearly 6 foot 3" camp!
  10. He could. Jay Bothroyd got a run out in a friendly whilst playing at cardiff last season!! He could definately play for some international team, there's some aweful international teams out there. Playing for ireland isn't beyond the realms of possibility if he continues his form this season.
  11. Lol at reference to "town". Which town based club are you reffering to? Lallana isn't a wide man, he's just been put there over the last few years and has adapted well. I prefer him in the tip of the diamond in the middle where he can penetrate the middle of defences.
  12. Revised building regs over the last few years have stated that new housing developments over a certain number, depending on dwelling type and size of development must have a certain % of social housing. I suppose its a way of integrating your typical social housing type of person/family into the rest of society and not creating slum type areas of large social housing estates such as leigh park or even worse around the country were some police are scared to tread. I dont agree with it, because from personal experience with friends living in these new developments, the plots designated for social housing stand out a mile once everyone has moved in because of the way the properties soon become untidy and are generally treated. I'm sure not all people in social housing are loud, untidy and treat their home with less care than private owners, some definately do.
  13. Cortese said he know's they're not up to scratch, and they are on the 'to do' lis,t but could cost best part of a million. When you consider all the others things on the list such as electronic turnstyles, it could be a couple of years before they change them.
  14. I do find it a surprise to hear that sort of insult tbh. I've only ever heard racism at a saints game once, from a tubby guy who shouted, "come on you black ****!!!" to one of our players at the time. I wasn't happy about it, so i told him to "shut up you fat ****". He stopped the bad language.
  15. One of the comments on that article; "One club are under the protection of the FA'. I remember this appointment seemed a bit odd at the time: 'Portsmouth appoint key FA man David Lampitt as their new chief executive David Lampitt, the Football Association's head of football integrity who has overseen several investigations into Portsmouth's transfer dealings in the last three years, is to join the club as their new chief executive.' 16. To be fair, we've got a box specifically for ex-players. They get chosen by the club and have the whole experience of a box for free. I understand its not the same as calling up and asking for 20 free tickets but i think its a good thing for the club to do to remember the players.
  17. 60% of the time, it works everytime...
  18. Quality!

Cheers
  20. Remember that from the match, it was clear as day even from over at in block 40. Fantastic stuff, we need an updated compilation of lallanas skills on youtube
  21. My exact reaction! I saw this last night and my first thought was "eh?!, bit early for that!" Fark him, he's gone but it wasn't a nice sight to see. A similar feeling to when i saw the picture of him in his arsenal kit the day he signed- Cheated on!
  22. We'll only move on when he's signed a permanent contract for another club!!!!!!!! Bring on January.
  23. I too really hope all the quiet types who sit down and make no noise at away games dont get a ticket for Pompey away. I doubt i'll qualify for a ticket, and in that case will be willing to part with alot of cash to get a ticket in the away end. I like making alot of noise at matches but am not the fighting type.
  24. Hoping to be leaving?!!? No way!! As for a saints related tattoo, do it! Its not about fashion as some of the negative responses have implied, you wont ever stop being a fan, so if you want to, go for it. Obviously if its a crest the size of your whole back it might not be a good idea, but a stick man, or crest a reasonable size on your arm, calf or shoulder blade wouldn't be too distasteful.
  25. http://www.portsmouth-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/pompey_fans_forum_summary_700343/index.shtml "Someone mentioned the prospect of finishing above Brighton and Southampton and Liam Lawrence said that he is surprised at how well the south coast sides had started but expects them to "fizzle out" whilst Cotterill added that promoted teams do well for a couple of years before their good (but low paid) players are poached by bigger clubs and thus, those clubs are left with the players on big wages and struggle (paraphrased)." ??????
