  1. A place for any half decent pics you took during the day and your favourite from the media too; I'll upload more later.
  2. If a player's playing ****, get him off. Guly should have come off at half time. He's gone off the boil in the last month or so, his touch has turned to nothing, and his jumping, let alone heading has been woeful, as was shown up at the worst possible time that ended up in the equaliser today. I'm happy to say when he's playing well, but he was poor against blackpool, yes he scored (one good touch out of a whole match?!), but was poor for the rest of the match. He also seemed to be playing well with the one touch stuff when connolly was fit and playing.

    Fox's sub..

I absolutely loved the passion he showed when we scored, i was suprised when he was subbed, for harding. Really wished we'd taken gully or one of the midfield off to get holmes or de ridder on the pitch and attack them properly http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/javaImages/29/4f/0,,10280~10309417,00.jpg
  4. I have to agree with the above. We were about 4 blocks from the left end of the milton. I had a mother and daughter right infront of me and two women in their late 50s/60's directly behind us. I was suprised to see so many women when we arrived, and tbh dissapointed because in my experience, most (not all) women dont make alot of noise. I'm not exaggerating when i say the only noise i heard from the four was a gasp of worry when pompey were in our penalty area. In fairness to them, there were also alot of men that didnt cheer or sing for large parts, contributing nothing to the atmosphere, apart from filling a space. I was trying to keep the (positive) noises coming loud and frequently, but it wasn't easy to get alot of people sat in the blocks around us chanting. I found this frustrating. Personally, i thought Guly should have come off at half time, and was annoyed De Ridder and/or Holmes werent allowed to run at them when we had them on the back foot in the second half, but i tried not to let him know this as he needed all the support he could get, and cheered him on when he actually did something half decent. Fair enough, alot of different people go to alot of away matches, but for this one match, where 90% of the crowd hate our team, call them whatever with the crowd in such close proximity to the pitch, throw the ball away from them in throw in situations etc, our away support needed to be rammed with people that do not stop singing and chanting to encourage and support our players. It doesnt matter if your young, old, male or female, just make some ****ing noise to support our team. If your not going to make any supportive noises, you as good as an empty seat.
  5. Don't worry old git, i try to keep it rowdy in block 40 every week, and i'll be giving it everything i've got on sunday. Take no prisoners, leave the mutes at home, lets ****ing av it on sunday and get behind the lads in what will be a very intimidating atmosphere!!!!
  6. True, i voted Blackburn. Think its got slightly more votes
  7. Guardian are doing a greatest prem goal vote, Le Tiss has two in their top 50. Currently Elmander is winning the vote by a landslide!!!! http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/poll/2011/dec/15/greatest-premier-league-goal-ever-poll Get voting!
  8. I like the fact he is complaining about it, and now saying that refs are deliberately harsh on them. Was this before or after they got 49 yellow cards in 21 matches?!
  9. I like the bias in the reporting, but to be fair, afew of the newer reader's comments seem to have actually kept an eye on us this season and make a better comment as a result. Keep your friends close, and you're enemies closer...
  10. I've had a thorough look for inflatable skates but cant find any. A regular fish just doesnt seem to be good enough
  11. ^^^^^^ For the THIRD thread, i will repeat. We managed to get tickets for poopey. The club then said everyone could apply for a further ticket each. Afew of our group applied for more, but this second application wasn't successful; thus there wasn't any tickets left to sell. From this information, one can deduce that we sold out our allocation.
  12. We missed out cause a mate wouldnt answer his phone!!!!! by 4pm they were gone. Who ever rushed to report to brighton fans that we havent sold out our pompey, you're a ****, and above that, you're wrong. We applied for more tickets when they said we could, and got rejected.
  13. I am hoping to get Brett to sign a shirt for me, but i'm not sure what time the away coach usually arrives. Obviously it will be early tomorrow due to the kick off. Having said that, it doesn't seem like Brett has been in the squad for the last couple of games. Anyone know if he's injured, or the likelihood of him travelling down tomorrow? Any help on the above is appreciated, thanks.
  14. Nice one, The9, most helpful! I was wondering what this mystical travel voucher included.
  15. We have had confirmation of our tickets. Our average was only 2 away tickets. We applied for more tickets as the club said we could, but we were unsucessful, which would imply that they have sold out of tickets
  16. It wont make a difference if you're wearing a saints shirt or not, its likely to be under afew more layers! Anyone who turns up in mid december in JUST a football shirt on top is far more nawwty than any of the 'wannabe football casual ard man' types in their stone island coats who give it the big i am on here. They're 'ard, but only when they're not catching a chill!
  17. Fingers crossed! ive been looking forward to a streamed match all season. I've been to all the previously streamed matches, and have been hoping for an away match online
  18. Arent all prius drivers ****s anyway? ******s!!
  19. It clearly wasnt a penalty, but in the first half alone tv replays showed that we should have had two clear cut pens. Opposition like to ignore inconvienient facts
  20. Its nice to see our players get as passionate as us fans. You could see how happy he was when he scored the winner at the withdean last season. They went too far in their **** taking that day, including playing songs with the name nigel in the title!! We were shocking in the first half, but winning that game was one of my best ever saints experiences.
  21. I'm in block 40, live near millbrook and got an invite last year. At least 50% of the sth's there when i went sat in the northam.
  22. Presumably this is the article: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/spl/2011/11/01/jos-hooiveld-i-was-never-given-chance-to-show-celtic-fans-what-i-could-do-86908-23529388/
  23. This is the worst chant i've heard from saints fans. I genuinely thought they'd given a block of tickets to local schools for mentally disabled children when i heard "steeeeeeeeeeeeve" every time De Ridder got the ball. It seemed to catch him off guard judging by his poor touch when it happened. It doesn't sound good and all personal chants are supposed to have an instantly positive, encouraging feeling to them. This really didn't. It seemed like our fans were taking the **** out of our own player. Someone MUST be able to think of a good chant for him, and not one for every time he gets the ball. We need to ask him if he likes it. If he does, the morons can continue to be tickled by it, and if he doesn't, they need to stop chanting it every time he touches the ball.
  24. If they were too big for turnstyles, theyd open up the exit doora like they do for wheelchair users.
  25. My thoughts EXACTLY. He was claiming to be a fans ambassador and was making a bad job of complaining. As the talksport presenters said, the stay at home t.v fans have it good, those of us who go to games dont (financially)
