Come one you guys! I think the fact that having attended every home game, bar one this season gives me the right to feel aggrieved about the 'fans' for whom this will be their first match of the season, unless they've been in a coma for the last 5 months. I'm all for linking the game to another, my point clearly is that £30 and £50 is alot of money, and you can't blame people for not having it to spend especially as they can watch it at home or down a pub for free. I know who's in my seat for this match and they will definitely be adding to the atmosphere and this is their 5th match of the season which is pretty impressive for someone who has to work weekends. My conscience is clear, i'm going to have as good a time, and a cheaper day than anyone in the stadium! Cant argue with that

The 150bhp is more sort-after, but u might be able to find one for that price. They've got the same torque figures as the 180bhp 1.8 petrol turbo VAG engine of the same age.

I presume you weren't there last time Utd came down then? the atmosphere was like Highbury used to be thanks to the local utd fans and saints plastics. I know that if i choose the right pub it'l be crammed with excited saints fans, we'll get replays and analysis of the game and can spend £30 on drink before we've spent the same as a match ticket. Besides that £30 is alot of money and think of how much a season ticket and all the previous cup games this season adds up to! And as for those of us not fortunate enough to have season tickets, the Utd game is being linked to the Carlisle game, so those people will end up spending £50+

I'll not be paying £30 for this one, especially as its on terestrial tv, and want to find a pub that will be full of Saints fans to enjoy the match with. Any ideas of pubs, preferably in the city centre with a decent sized screen that other people are planning on going to?

I'm loving the thought of watching the saints in NYC. I salut the efforts of over seas Saints, must be a bigger feeling of camaraderie than being in the stadium.

I've just emailed the ticket office asking them to restrict home sales to data base fans, but allow them to buy more than one ticket each. i think this should help eliminate the problem of a stale atmosphere due to away fans in the home end.

I echo your sentiments, it was good to see and hear alot of us chanting for him as he was waiting to come on, it must have been highly motivating for him. I don't think his performances have been up to much until the last few games but i hope his current form becomes his standard level. I was right behind his goal today and it was a cracker, unfortunately our view wasnt the best for me, can't wait to see it on tv tonight.

I'd rather concentrate on the league but i think we could rest lallana and chambo, maybe even lambert and replace them with players that you couldn't consider second string, like Adkins making 4 changes against the Daggers. Blackpool might put out another 10 man changed team and i think any likely team we'll put out could match that.

Anyone on here got a Saints related number plate on their vehicle? I've seen three cars around Southampton with various ... SFC number plates, and wondered how many fans on here have one! note: Im still searching for "J2 SFC" its out there!
