Uwe Rosler and Mark Hughes were two that immediately sprang to my mind... Uwe scored in both last 'competitive' match at The Dell, though it was a friendly*, and the first at SMS, a friendly v Lazio (?) where we lost 3-2. I'm not sure he ever scored in a 'proper' competitive match. Hughes scored that 'goal' which didn't count when it rebounded out off the advertising boards at Leeds. I don't remember him ever scoring (he did hit the bar with an overhead kick from outside the area once) and soon got moved to def mid where he got booked every game - tho he may have got one or two I've forgotten about. *As opposed to Dodd's testimonial where Robbie Jackson from Eastenders scored the last goal at the Dell
