  1. Best hope we get Graham Poll for that game.
  2. Not sure if it's been mentioned on here yet, but I went back through the history books and found it happened in 2010, a 5-1 and then a 5-0.
  3. I've heard why it "could work" the way we have it, but why not just switch them around?!?
  4. Hard Fi's Tied Up Too Tight is about this.
  5. http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/5937559/the_100_greatest_guitarists_of_all_time/
  6. Come to think of it, it may have been Palace.
  7. I remember we played Wimbledon a few years ago and it was 0-0. Someone might have hit the bar, I'm not really bothered.
  8. Same here (although I don't live in Norway)! I'm much better at sking on a plateau...while my real forte is uphill.
  9. It'd be funny if we made the play-offs then lost.
  10. Junction9 is right. Nick - you need to check these figures...I don't think we should be averaging negative points by this stage in the season.
  11. hui luuco mpte, id the smaeprolme myslef lst yar. jsut mail david kuckre nd he wil sprt it owtfory ou. i sit nxttoo the halfwy lyen in ichen stand. graet views ther. i used tobe nxt to plyres adn spoeke to forrecast lodes, but npt npw - i hve triskadecaphobia lol
  12. Is this about me not liking Ron Davis' drawing?
  13. Well this is something we at last agree on. We need to come up with a strategy to avoid conceding goals. Ideas anyone?
  14. Sounds like you gave them a right good lesson in comedy.
  15. Since when do you only take one striker?!?
  16. Who did you get to take this pic?
  17. I feel as strongly opposed to this 'change of tack' as I do to the original post. I am glad AP didn't go all defensive at 1-1.
  18. 3 years? Really? I don't think that can be right Pompeylass. 3 years? Can you check your dates please? I am pretty sure it is only 2 years and the rest of the posts on here seem to corroborate that.
  19. That's not a tear.
  20. I got hit by a coin at the end of the Luton game. I didn't complain about it. Actually I did, but my Dad laughed at me cuz it was only 5p. Anyway, it's not just Pompey this stuff happens against. I was surprised how mental Luton got to be honest. Magic of the FA Cup and all that.
  21. I've sais it before and I'll say it again. Pompey will find some stupid buyer and get out of this just fine. I just hope they still get relegated. I was seriously concerned about that until recently when they were only a few points behind and teams above couldn't win, but slightly happier now there's an 8 point gap.
  22. I am 54 years old and I have never even said the word Portsmouth out loud. My mum once came back from a shopping trip with a bag from a shop in Portsmouth. I couldn't help it, I just hit her. Not too hard, but enough for it to be felt. Then she told me that someone gave her the bag and I felt terrible. I found out which friend of hers gave her the bag and ended up ringing them in the early hours of morning, ****ed and calling them c*nts.
  23. I live in America and I also think you're a tit. Many more goals are scored in the second half of games than the first. There are many (fairly obvious) reasons for this. Get over it. We are not special.
  24. He is. I'm good mates with his cousin. He'd love to play for Saints.
  25. I think, taking off my Pompey-hating hat, the best outcome may be them to receive this money, but have to take a points deduction/automatic relegation, as the Sky poll suggests. It's only because of this 'bail out' that they're not in admin (/ wound up) which would, in normal course of events lead to such a penalty. If there is a mechanism where they can be saved from liquidation with minimal disruption (ie they would get paid this in 2 months anyway, it's not a strict handout) then go for it, but they should be treated the same way as a club who had gone into admin. Otherwise it's just another loophole like we tried.
