To settle an argument - Who do you like the bestest out of...
Deano6 replied to dune's topic in The Muppet Show
Consider yourself complimented. -
88. Ryan Giggs £27m Manchester United Age 36 (Last year £24m, 85th) Evergreen hardly does Giggs justice. Now approaching 850 appearances for Manchester United and with a contract that takes him through until the end of next season, he has every chance of clocking up more than 20 years in the club’s first team. He has been richly rewarded for his loyalty and while his current £4.2m a year contract does not match that of some of his younger team-mates, he has been earning at this rate and more since some of them were still in their prams. A mainstay of Reebok, Giggs has managed to keep his exploits on the back pages rather than the front, maintaining a private life despite being the most decorated footballer in history. Now in his 20th year at the top, Giggs has amassed a personal fortune that should ensure he never has to work again when he hangs up his boots. His company, Ryan Giggs Ltd, has around £3.4m net assets as at the end of 2008. As he is very careful with his money and with his longevity, we reckon Giggs should be worth £27m right now.

I don't think you'll get the gig until you learn how to use this.

Who was your favourite foreign Saints player? (current players don't count)
Deano6 replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Olivier Bernard - he was funny -
They won't be counting Tallack and Stockford in their numbers, and those 2 won't count towards the 20 Quota, being first year graduates (like Ellis Martin, Perry Ryan etc last yr). Ben Haim won't play. Nugent and Hreidarsson are out of contract in a few days. Nugent won't stay, and it's unclear on Herman, so that leaves: GK Ashdown DF Mokoena Rocha MF Mullins Lawrence Ward FW Kitson Kanu (just retired from international, rumoured he would be retiring for good to concentrate on his charity, but since denied) Incidentally, mentioning Herman, what looks out of place in this list from Kanu's testimonial from last night: N****wo Kanu Samuel Eto'o Emmanuel Adebayor Sulley Muntari Rigobert Song Emmanuel Eboue Danny ****tu Kalu Uche Yakubu Ayegbeni Peterside Idah Ikechukwu Uche Jean Makoun Khalilou Fadiga Anthony Baffoe Jay-Jay Okocha Sammy Kuffour George Boateng Joseph Yobo Taye Taiwo Herman Hreidarsson Obinna Nsofor Michael Essien Kolo Toure Stephen Appiah Kalusha Bwalya John Utaka Finidi George Mutiu Adepoju Obinna Nwaneri Yakubu Ayegbeni Elderson Echiejile Onyekachi Okonkwo Raphael Chukwu Daniel Amokachi Uche Okechukwu Ogbonnaya Kanu

Thanks for the support guys. I'll be continuing to make lesser appearances using a couple of my less-oft used accounts such as egg and Sergei Gotsmanov. Be interesting to see if those logins get infracted quite so quickly!

Dambusters dog/code word changed to make it Politically Correct
Deano6 replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Yes it is done for political correctness, and I applaud them for that. -
I agree. Sarcasm is far worse than racism, homophobia and paedophilia in my opinion.

At doing his job or at being a professional footballer?

Hardest ****ing Years/Schools in Southampton...
Deano6 replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Lounge
Indeed they were - John Francis and Ian Brunnschwiler came out of that crop to play professionally. -
What about the other 70%??

Ricketts closer to signing than we thought then?
Deano6 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Good utility man who can play anywhere across the back. Wasn't aware Bolton were looking to let him go though. -
This is my truth, tell me yours.

According to this guy...everyone! http://www.southampton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=243399 All but 3 teams will make the top 10, and about half will be in the top 6.

Deppo doesn't support Saints unless they're in the Prem.

Happy Birthday Ron, Thanks for all the goals. You'll always be fondly remembered! Drew P. Weiner

None of those links suggest the Big Bang theory is losing weight. There are just further suggestions around what might have happened around the time it occurred, or even "just before".

I'd treat him pretty much the same way as manager of any other rival team in Southampton's division. Quite liked the guy when he played, even if he did terrorise us at the Dell one evening with Sheff Weds beating us (3-2?) and all their fans singing Dee-Eye-Canio. That was when they had Carbone too, and Regi Blinker.

I thought this had the potential to be something interesting - make a giant cheeseburger using 2 margherita pizzas, cover with cooked bacon, create a huge burger with a patty of ground beef (or by laying lots of McDonalds burgers next to each other for you students), shred a whole lettuce, exra cheese, pickles etc. Instead you just put fast food on top of one another and heated it up.

I can think of a few: Julian Clary Dale Winton Graham Norton John Amaechi I also have a good friend called Mandeep (per the OP). Pretty sure he's not gay though.

Don't tell Tijuana Tim or he'll start a crusade to end these "early" goals!
