    Tackle!

This is interesting. I remember hearing a while back that ducks mate primarily by gang rape, and to combat this the lady has her tunnel of love made into a labyrinth. This way only the boy ducks she actually fancies she will let get to her eggs, the rest end up in a dead end. This explains why they need a nob that goes exploring.
  2. So we are all certain Stoke aren't going down now. Wonder who it will be next week.
  3. Yeah, me too. I know some REALLY juicy gossip. Can't tell you right now but read tomorrow's paper and if there's anything interesting in there then that's what it was.

    Motd

And what do the players have?
  5. A UK team would include Fox. And S Davis.
  6. Found this article/pic thing comparing habits between UK and US "football" fans. Chicken balti pie over a hotdog any day for me! I also struggle to believe the average UK footy fan goes for food 1.5 times per game! That would mean 45k pies / kitkats sold each game at St Marys! Maybe it includes beer runs too? It's an odd shape so comes out small on here but it's basically readable...
  7. Last week Sunderland were certain for the drop. Then they win and now it's Stoke. If they win this week it will be Norwich. Football fans are a fickle lot.
  8. You could always ask these guys: http://www.photoshoprequest.com/ You can then find the results on this site: http://www.photoshoptroll.com/
  9. Recap of a post I made showing where all the parachute payments are going, per their own documentation (from the Council)...
  10. Same as for throw-ins, ball has to leave the pitch - in this case it needs to be within the frame of the goal. I believe it's easier to judge if the whole ball is over whole line, than if half ball is over some portion of the line. Tbh most people will be shocked you weren't aware of this rule before.
  11. Have you just stolen my pun? Findus one of your own will you!
  12. That's what happens when you stirrup trouble.
  13. Will be good for them to be relegated before next Friday, when they are due to come out of admin. That then somewhat forces the FL to apply the 10 pts deductions next year. Needed today's results to go as they did too.
  14. We'll make a few additions then, problem solved. Top 6 next year!!
  15. Win would have been nice, but content with the draw. West Ham are a physical team and defend solidly. We pulled away from Norwich and nobody else around us won. Great to be in a position where our concerns are whereabouts in mid-table we finish, particularly given our start. Would love to finish top half and a win v Swansea next week could put us level with them. Pretty happy overall with today, especially with the late shenanigans going on at the bottom of League 1.
  16. Ummm, no...you are wrong. It answers exactly what he asked. Forget that the article is about Millwall, that is a coincidence. The fact is in 2004 a Championship side (Millwall) got to the FA Cup Final and lost to a team which qualified for the Champions League (Man U), and the next season played in the UEFA Cup (as it was then). So not only is there a precedent for a team doing it, Millwall themselves have done it! Your assertion that the place would be reallocated to a team in the Premier League because they are a Championship side is wrong. Only in the Carling / Littlewoods / Worthington / Coca-Cola / Milk Cup does the place get reallocated to the league if the winner has already qualified, the runners-up do not qualify. There was also a situation about 15 years ago when Newcastle qualified for Europe just by virtue of making the Semis, as all other teams had already qualified for Europe, so they changed it that you had to at least make the final. If I remember right Newcastle did then make the final, before being spanked by Man U.
  17. It appears that the thread title has nothing to do with the question being asked. Logic circuits bypass!
  18. This is all you need to know... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millwall_F.C.#Millwall_in_European_football
  19. So Jol has been nominated for narrowly beating Spurs and...errr...
  20. Maybe we will. Maybe we won't. Nobody knows. Anyone's opinion is only that.
  21. And yet look at them now... Peter Crouch at Stoke, 13th in Premier League Saggychops at QPR, 19th in the Premier League and about to be relegated James Beattie at Accrington Stanley, languishing toward the bottom of League 2 Marcus Bent and Nigel Martyn not even playing any more! While the mighty Saints sit proudly at 12th in the Premier League WTFILN!

    Sky hate us

I disagree with the OP in so far as MOTD had Lambert's free kick as contender for goal of the month, whereas for my money it should never have been in there, nice kick as it was.
  23. So, joint 11th looking at that.
  24. Bloke next to me recorded it. Either middle (vertical video, tsk) or bottom right if he's on there.
  25. Leeds have no money. At all. They got bought out by the only Arabs with no money. Well, other than THOSE ones.
