That group would struggle over the course of a season when injuries kick in and we need to start relying on backups, as was so evident around December. The top 7 teams have virtually two full quality starting 11s in their squad.

V few goals are scored from corners these days. I was reading one of those "stats-y" books on football recently and they had a chart of number of goals scored vs number of corners in a match and the correlation was almost zero (v slightly upward sloping line). As someone above said, it's not just us.
