  1. What if someone with depression gets some sad news? Are they cured?

Really? Do you live close to the stadium, or are you on a mobile device? How come he's not with the team up in Liverpool - I'd have thought he travelled with them today. Also, it's not clear from the stars what it is he's describing Rickie as. My guess is "a handful", but the number of letters doesn't match (not sure if it's meant to).
  3. Surely the most common is cold / flu. You've leapt to quite a conclusion there Art!
  4. I get stressed out when I'm low on toner too.
  5. You could...bring a book?
  6. Yeah, it's the terrorism angle. The copyright issue is a red herring as there's always been rules against that, and banning certain devices but not others (phones, small cameras) wouldn't help anyway. http://m.huffpost.com/uk/entry/5677613
  7. But class and ass don't rhyme. If only there were a better word that fit...
  8. Wanyama's been playing in Kenya, hence no photos. They did well to only lose narrowly 1-0 to the mighty Lesotho.
  9. Yeah, what you've done there is quoted part of a sentence without the rest of it that gives it the context, and so have changed his meaning. What he wrote was "compared to [...] what you'll find in most clothes shops the gear is a least one size out". He is clearly saying the Saints range is out of line with most other shops.

Screw you guys, I still love Bale.
  11. Why do we, as fans, care how much money is in the bank? Notwithstanding we don't want to go bankrupt obviously. Money in the bank just means you have ability to make a decent signing at a later date...but we need players NOW!
  12. Why bring Dean Richards into this? What did he ever do to deserve it? RIP Deano
  13. We need to get hold of some extra-UK players. The normal-English lot are all off at the first sniff of interest!
  14. Humans do ****, yes.
  15. Top rated defender in the entire World Cup. Ummm...yes!!
  16. They think they're bidding for James Rodriguez.
  17. Yayyy. I think. Forgive me for being a little cautious on this one.
  18. Are you sure the Fred reference isn't from this article, Bletcherooney? http://bwinbetting.com/leagues/premier-league/southampton-lead-premier-league-clubs-chance-fredjee,57802.html
  19. Ummmm...he was only talking about wins! Add to that 8 nil-nil draws and we're safe. We can afford to lose the other 18 games at a canter too.
  20. I like the kit. The only reservation I have - and this is independent of what it looks like - is the last few Saints own-brand shirts had necks so tight I couldn't get it over my (skinny) head without breaking my (overlarge) nose!
  21. Gazza isn't good enough and never will be. I don't say that lightly. He will not be a Premier League keeper.
  22. It's John Ruddy. Obviously.
  23. If an American follows the MLS closely enough to be aware what color Chivas USA play in, they will not be in the market for an EPL team. They will already have one. Guaranteed. If we are trying to pick up new fans in the US, then it will be from the 90+% who had little more than a passing interest in soccer previously but are now getting into it. And there are a lot of people in that bucket, especially with the recent NBC deal last season meaning every single EPL game is now on TV here, and bars really getting behind it too. Add to that a very successful world cup campaign which has made major headlines across the country and Tim Howard now being a household name. The new NYCFC and Miami franchises next season will also garner further support for the game in under-served areas (Red Bulls is a long trip into New Jersey, before you fall into that trap). To them, the red and white stripes will look a bit silly. It may not put them off, but it will look somewhat odd to them and remind them more of a barbershop quartet. It's simply not a recognisable sports jersey over here. And it is a bit garish, when nobody around you understands what it is. I cannot think of a single recognizable US team which plays in equal-width stripes (not pinstripes, not tiger-stripes) in any sports, other than the referees. I follow MLS somewhat and I didn't know the Chivas shirt. Don't get me wrong, I actually like these shirts. But don't think because a handful of MLS nuts in a corner of California support a team in red and white stripes that the rest of the country will embrace them. Being totally honest, I don't particularly like wearing the stripes "out-and-about", whereas I was happy to do so with the sash or pinstripe shirts as I felt they could substitute as casual tops when the situation was right. Now ask yourself whether a new supporter is going to fork out £50 for a shirt they are not likely to wear.
  24. I can guarantee you that if you took any random sample of 100 Americans: - at least 95% of them would say they have never seen the shirt pictured above (indeed any of the 3 you pictured) - at least 90% of them (probably higher) would never have heard of Chivas USA, let alone know what they wear
  25. Hi Guan 2.0. I'm only a bear of little brain. Can you explain to me what those mean?
