For some reason I was picturing Neil Warnock while I was reading this. Something about being Crystal Palace manager got them mixed up I guess. I was also thinking it would have been while they were both at Sheff U (did they overlap). A rather different image in the shower anyway. Also, I had a much gentler image of "laying a nut on him" which I couldn't figure out how / why that would be something someone might do when angry, but I now realise it is rather quaint colloquial English for headbutting. You're thinking of the crossbar challenge, which is hard. They could all kick it into an open net from the halfway line (not saying someone wouldn't fluff it, but they are all very capable of doing it).

I put it down to he's spending time now with his mates Adam and Dejan and he's airing their side of things, in which they come out shiny white. I'm really not sure what the board could have done re Dejan when they said they did not want to sell him and then he threw his toys out of the pram demanding a move. The blame lies entirely with him.
