  1. Embarrassing!
  2. I believe Blackburn done something similar for this season. I know of a Liverpool fan who just bought one purely because it was so cheap.
  3. Agreed, I get so f*cked off how people worship Gerrard and the fact that he can't do anything wrong. Lampard deserves his place in the squad after the 2nd half of the season he has had.
  4. Englandfans membership is pretty pointless these days. I've been a member since 1999 and won't be renewing post-Euros.
  5. I'm surprised with the number of posts wanting to do Swansea. When we played them in the Championship it was an awful away day and not just because of the way we played on the pitch. The OB were well over the top and you could only go where they allowed you to. If I'm back to do it next season I'll aim to have a good drink on the train from Paddington and arrive in Swansea just after 2pm.
  6. Always had a great day out for Stoke away, ground is out of the way but there are buses or just jump in a taxi. Some of the pubs are lairy but if you're sensible then it's absolutely fine. As for clubs moving away fans to sh*t parts of the ground... I'm all for that to be honest. Ok, not ideal for us away fans but if it gives the home team an advantage then credit to the people making that decision. I'd personally stick the away support at SMS in the Chapel / Kingsland corner.
  7. 1. Spurs - especially if that **** is still in charge. 2. Wigan - as most haven't done it we'll take a good following and I've had a good day when there previously. 3. Sunderland - really like the ground and a top night out is guaranteed not too far away. If you're asking, I've already done them all apart from the Emirates. Done Highbury a few times though.
  8. Well the relationship between us fans and Kelvin Davis has certainly improved since that day.
  9. I suppose it all depends on the individual as to what makes a cracking away day. Some are quite content to sit on a supporters coach, arrive shortly before kick off, have a Bovril at half time and just clap when we score. I'm not knocking that at all, each to their own. For me it starts off with the journey (usually by train), the pre-match pub(s), obviously the game itself (not the end of the world if we're awful) and then anything that happens after the game. In fact, some of the worst performances have made the best away days. Doncaster this season and Rochdale last season spring to mind when the performance on the pitch hasn't been up to much.
  10. No Ryan Smith, unbelievable!!!
  11. Varsity was absolutely rocking, we then smashed a bottle of champagne on the train back to Waterloo then caused widespread chaos in the boozers of London Bridge. Top day!
  12. So it's over and what a fantastic journey. Nominations for most enjoyable away day please...
  13. If the original poster is not on a wind up he should be banned from SMS for being a boring idiot. We don't need fans like you! THE FLARE WAS CLASS!
  14. Absolutely no chance.
  15. Fingers crossed they get that in East London, despite what their fans sing they do struggle to keep it on the floor.
  16. I'll be wearing the full home kit complete with 'Cortese 8s Skates' on the back. In terms of footwear I'll be wearing my Gola football boots and Sondico shinpads. I want to be prepared just in case Nige wants to give me a late call up. In the ground (I'll head in as soon as the turnstiles open and hang up my JJB St George's flag) I'll have a thermos flask in one hand and a rattle in the other. I'm getting my haircut too, 'Premier League' shaved into the back of my head. I'll also have a Tesco carrier bag with me to keep the programme dry. No boxers as I like to dangle. This surely is acceptable?!
  17. A subtle pin badge is quality, what is not is that Liverpool supporting gimp you see on the TV who wears a hat covered in them. If you are one of these people I suspect that you are already on the sex offenders register.
  18. Agree on the Irish bird, she was pure filth.
  19. They can't be any worse than Sheffield Utd?! Saying that the last time I went to the Riverside it was for England vs Slovakia. The only trouble we had was in a kebab house after the game with some moody locals.
  20. Fair comment actually... if this game meant nothing we'd have about 900 of us up there instead of hundreds of JCLs foaming at the gash to get tickets. Oh well, do what you like everyone.
  21. People that want to be there will find a way to be there. Mastercard is paying for my weekend, no way I'd miss it.
  22. Snodgrass, Curtis Davies & Ince
  23. There is serious potential that all promotion and relegation will be sorted come Saturday evening so whatever Sky decide to show on the final day will be a bit pointless.
