Apparently it's only £1 more if you pay on the day. I agree though, £26 is an utter joke! It is nice to see that Sheffield Wednesday are only charging us £18, top tier with a decent view and a roof.
-
Decent pub, us Northern Saints drank in there last season. The only downside was seeing those dirty Skates fluke a cup win against Utd whilst we all shouted abuse at the big screen to the bemusement of the locals.

From one hellhole to another thank you very much... at least I don't live in Luton.
-
7 of us spending the Saturday night in the hellhole that is Blackpool. I can understand why people can't be arsed with going this season after doing it last season. Massive game though and just hope it doesn't **** down with rain as we've got that awful away end.
-
Birmingham City are another one of these clubs that think they're so much bigger than they actually are. Tin pot club with no soul!

Isn't it great seeing the optimism ooze back on here?! I'm going for a 3-3 with us winning 3-1 with 10mins to go... ok, so I've lacked the optimism for the final 10mins.

Used to be from Nottingham which was about 4 hours there and 4 hours back on the train. Now in Bedford so 3 hours there and 3 hours back after negotiating the tube in London. I know of two up in Harrogate who up until last season travelled to the majority of home games and almost all aways too.

Leeds and Manchester are hotspots for Northern Saints. So was Nottingham (not really Northern) at one time.

Bristol match on Viasat Sport

Random one as I'm stuck in the Arctic Circle until March but is there any live English matches on Finnish TV tomorrow? If so what channels if different to above? -

Random one Saint Martini but do you know if Viasat covers Finland as well? I've checked Wikipedia but cannot see Finland mentioned. Cheers. -
And she was a right wrong'n mate but we would have forgiven you after that result! My last game until March as I'm off to work overseas so talk about a send off. Comedy shout out goes to one of our party who got slung out early doors for taking his beer to his seat only to re-appear in the home end 5 minutes later, HAPPY DAYS!!! That 2nd half performance will stick in our heads for a long time.

I struggled to maintain a semi-sober face yesterday, wish I didn't then I wouldn't have had to witness that sh*t.

Up there for a weekender in the hellhole that is Blackpool, I plan to get so drunk that I won't remember the football at all.
-
Whats the problem?! Crewe and Millwall are cracking away days!!!
-
Exactly! Anyway, despite all our current financial issues don't you find it better as a supporter going to games surrounded by hardcore fans and not the JCL brigade? Ok, I'll be honest enough to say the home games have lost their spark but give me the Championship away days over the Premiership anyday. I'd much rather be going to Swansea tomorrow than I would do Old Trafford.

Was just going to say something similar, whats the betting we don't even have a shot on target?!

Renewed mine the other week, it only took just over a week to get back to me. I'm delighted because on this latest one I don't look like a child which puts to an end dodgy looks from Border Control in Eastern Europe.

I've been one of his biggest critics in recent years but this season he's been by far our best performer... anyone doubting that for this season obviously hasn't seen him play.
-
Despite venturing into a Third World country the majority of us are visiting a new ground so I reckon we'll have a decent number there, just like Donny a few weeks back. Think beers wise we'll be drinking near the station then getting a taxi to the ground. I've spoken to some mates who have been there before with Forest, lets just say that the Swansea fans aren't the most welcoming around.
-
I'd have to agree with the majority of what has been said on here. David McGoldrick was the only negative for me, the lad has got a chip on his shoulder and strikes me as a 'rudeboy' type who doesn't give a sh*t about anyone else other than himself. Apart from that negative the lads were superb last night, a great battling performance and hopefully something we can build on.

For the few that were wondering about paying on the day... I spoke to the Ticket Office this morning and tickets will be available at the away turnstiles.
-
Well up until 17:00 yesterday walking away from SMS I wasn't going to Bramall Lane but then I decided that going would be a good idea... f*ck knows why ha ha. Andy, I'll be in touch as we're arriving in Sheffield. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!!
-
I'm just paying on the gate at Bramall Lane, can't imagine that being a problem. I'll give the ticket office a bell tomorrow just to check though. Worst case scenario would just mean buying a ticket over the phone then picking it up in Sheffield on the night.
