Not that they'll take many but Notts County are at Dagenham on the same day too.

London Bridge is a superb place for a beer but we drank around Liverpool Street last year. Have to say London Bridge did get the call up after the game though.

Think there are 15 with England away. Gutted that I couldn't do Bucharest in the UEFA Cup, life as a student didn't allow for it.

Apparently the Trent Navigation has closed again a mate was telling me. Good shout on the Approach, great boozer plus there is a strip club almost next door called Flirtz.

They have been sticking away fans in the Jimmy Sirrell Stand for the past two seasons, shame really because the stand behind the goal is fantastic for atmosphere when there is a half decent turnout. Sheffield Wednesday have always had a good turnout but in fairness it's only about 45 minutes away so 4,000 turnout was always likely. Best bar for me pre-match would be the Southbank which is right next to Trent Bridge, only 5 minutes from the ground and a proper sports pub. Popular with cricket and football fans (big Forest pub), the barmaids that they tend to employ usually have superb racks. The beer is pretty decent too and normally has at least three real ales going plus the usual selection of lager plus the continental types too (decent grub is served for those of you who don't agree with the 'eating is cheating' rule). There are also plenty of bars close by in West Bridgford, which is the other side of the river from Meadow Lane. In terms of a night out wherever you go you'll have an absolutely blinding night. As Benjii says, the Lace Market is a great selection of classy little bars and late night venues. Dogma was a personal favourite of mine. There is also a Lloyds bar very close to the Lace Market, plenty of snatch and of course cheap booze. Shame I'm missing out as I'm over the other side of the Atlantic at the time however I did spend 7 years as both a pikey student and at work there so know the place very well. Have fun.

Good question: Paris - Stade de France Munich Amsterdam Barcelona - Olympic Lisbon - Stade de Luz Aviero Copenhagen - Parken Innsbruck Tirana Skopje Dnipro Tel Aviv Bratislava Zagreb Edinburgh - Easter Road Moscow - Luzniki Geneva Basel And for comedy value: Cardiff - Millenium Cardiff - Ninian Swansea

Huddersfield will be my 76th ground out of the 92, not all with Saints though.

10 hours round trip by rail for me in Innsbruck... if the prices aren't ridiculous then I'm going.

It's all in the book by Graham Johnson called Football and Gangsters: How Organised Crime Controls the Beautiful Game.

Not that I've been in the country much for this season but mine are: 3. Oldham - good beers in Manchester before and after plus a decent performance with us moving off the bottom. 2. Carlisle - first game back after months away, good beers all day and a comedy train journey. Jaidi popping up with the equaliser was pretty good too especially after the lads persuaded me to stay until the final whistle. 1. Hartlepool - on a Tuesday night, says it all. Great performance and a superb strike from Lallana... oh and good beers too. I have a feeling that Yeovil is going to be pretty s***e on Saturday, grounds that are miles out of town generally mean that it will be a crap affair.

I finished my season of skiing early just to get back for this. Actually flew back today from the Austrian Alps, just in the nick of time.

Got to say I'm surprised that we've apparently sold over 2000, fantastic turnout in my opinion.
-
I'd have to agree with this nomination however the Gravitas didn't float my boat. It was just a quality English boozer and a decent little atmosphere. When we arrived at Sixfields we headed to Old Orleans and had no chance of getting served so we ended up at the bowling alley... as said elsewhere, what a surreal place to have a pre-match pint and I certainly won't be going there again.

What time you arriving in Hartlepool Andy? -
I think the atmosphere we create at home games is pretty decent compared with the home atmospheres created by most teams we play.

Planning on boozing in Birmingham city centre then getting the 14:17 from New Street to Bescot that arrives in at 14:38.

the last kick of the Swedish season ....
stkev7 replied to david in sweden's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
I saw this on Swedish TV when I was out in Malmo at the weekend, stupid idiots if you ask me. Not Sweden but I went to my first Europa League game not too far away from Sweden in Copenhagen on Thursday to see FC Copenhagen vs PSV Eindhoven at the Parken Stadion. Got to say I was impressed by the whole experience and the football was pretty decent too. -

All sorted for this one, my penultimate away game before I leave the country again. Train up and night in a B&B in Hartlepool... the nightlife could be interesting up there! -
1-0 Saints with Connolly grabbing an 87th minute winner. Can't wait for this, my weekend starts tomorrow morning at 10am at my local Wetherspoons then into London.
-
That is stupid money to consider paying, just spend £20 to go in the home end then have a word with a dopey steward. Saying that there will be plenty of Saints in the home end on Saturday.
-
Liverpool Street... at a secret venue!
-
We have both moved on... end of! Good luck to the lad in his career at Wolves.
-
It's very rare for Millwall to give the whole end to the away team and I very much doubt they'll even consider it with us.

Travelling to Saints away league games live on Sky.
stkev7 replied to RonManager's topic in Saints Away Supporters
It's not just games changed for Sky for also the postponed games too where you lose out. The most recent very late change I can think of was the West Brom game (Lallana scored, last away of the season when we stayed up) which was changed to the Monday night for Sky. I know quite a few people who lost out through the train tickets they had purchased well in advance. Despite the above I always try to book well in advance, booked Oldham back in July.
