  1. Used them on three occasions for England away games over the years and they've been spot on. I'm pretty sure Miles has travelled with us and from what I can remember is a decent bloke. P.S: I do not work for them either.

    Skiing

Out in Austria at the moment, the main lifts in the Ski Welt where I am, open on the 7th December. Going by the current conditions it should be an exceptional season.
  3. We drank in there too, decent enough boozer.

    Antwerp...

Anyone on here been to Antwerp before? Would it be a suitable city for a lads weekend away? Due to it being close and relatively cheap to get to we thought we'd give it a go.

  6. I think he'd be a top signing. Doesn't his brother Jake play for our U21s? If so, that could be a good reason to get him here on loan.
  7. I met Jim White last night... I cannot add anything more to this thread. Many thanks.
  8. There will definitely be a stream, Sport1 are showing all of Schalke's preseason matches live for German and Austrian punters.
  9. I'll be there for the Schalke game. Arriving just before 13:00 so I plan to have a good nose around and then end up in some bar near the ground, hopefully with fellow Saints.
  10. Yep, booked hostel and train only. I fully expect it to be pay on the day as it's only a friendly.
  11. I'm all booked up for the Schalke game in Villach. It does help that I live in Austria, all be it 4 hours away.
  12. I agree, totally different to our last visit and thoroughly enjoyable.
  13. We went here last season, absolutely cracking boozer. The OB were hot on stopping Saints fans walking into the the town from the Three Guineas but we got lucky.
  14. My local here in Austria was showing the Newcastle game, they've got some dodgy satellite dish.
  15. So is anyone out here for the ski season? Great start with all the snow we've had. Currently in St Anton but move tomorrow.
  16. It should be a decent atmosphere from the away end due to our probable low numbers. I love the Northern midweek away days.
  17. We're having a night in Brum after for this, got the Ibis Budget (previously Etap) at £25 for the room. Doing something similar for Leeds and their Ibis Budget is only £20.
  18. I agree, we should not be charging anymore than £10 for a League Cup game. The only time it should be more would be for a possible last 8 tie. The attendances are embarrassing for this competition and it is all down to the stupid prices. Fairplay to both Reading and WHU for their sensible pricing.
  19. Most have been mentioned already. Barnard's winner against Yeovil was quality. Fonte's winner at the Withdean was incredible, there is a clip floating about on youtube taken from the Brighton end. Our end was just bouncing, lads pouring onto the running track and celebrating with the players, great memories.
  20. I've seen our reserves play Spurs there in the past. Typical non-league style ground with sod all around it. No excitement but easy to get to.
  21. Luckily my local boozer has Channel 5 here in Austria and I fortunately have a spare two hours when the game is on so I'm delighted.
  22. Paul Williams didn't get many excited by his arrival but he was class and a great addition.
  23. Yep, it wasn't on Sky. Standard 3pm on a Saturday, what a joy!
  24. Agreed with many posts, superb old fashioned ground. Only been the once and on that day we had Blackstock and Best up front with about 700 of us there. Leon Osman is a little sh*t!
  25. I was living in Igls up until late March. I'm now half way between Innsbruck and Salzburg. You could have picked a much worse place to live in, quality little city.
