  1. Watford have only won 4 home games, yet every time any team goes there they are going to get 'out muscled by Deeney' and lose. Pressure all on Watford here, expect Ings to score a few, Watford 1-3 Saints
  2. Another poor result, we will not get relegated but it will go close. Bmouth, Watford and Norwich all losing. A poor end to the season but we knew after 10 games in the reality that this is a p155 poor squad we have. Let's just crawl over the line and try and move forward. 3. We're doomed now, what with all the teams behind us about to go on great runs of form Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. Seems another case of lots of people expecting a huge upturn in form by 4-5 teams. There's a reason they are down there in the first place. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. This is a prime example of a 'winnable home game' that we have consistently failed to win for the past 4 years. Would happily take a draw from this. Newcastle will make things difficult for us. Saints 0-0 Newcastle Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. He's in the way off the direct line of travel of the ball and also about 5 yards in front of De Gea. If that isn't interfering with play, what is? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. To be fair Moyes put out a reasonably atracking side who looked like they would cause us problems. I know he scored, but Obafemi and Long, and no Ings, Refmond or Djenepo inspires much confidence Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. In a way there's no real pressure on us. Going to take the old clichéd stance of whoever scores first, wins. West Ham 3-1 Saints (Antonio 17, Noble pen 42, Snodgrass 63, Stephens 88) West Ham 0-3 Saints (Ings 19, 32, Armstrong 76) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Credit to Norwich, still giving it a go. Leicester have run out of steam, yet still find themselves comfortably in third, so it doesn't seem to get mentioned. Although I have heard they beat us 9-0. I feel we should officially change our name to 'since that 9-0 defeat to Leicester, Ralph Hassenhutl's Southampton'. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. Hate both these sides. This is going to be so demoralising for West Ham and if Liverpool keep playing like this, they will eventually get beat by someone. Just annoying that they have been nowhere near as good as they were last season, yet cruising to the title this year. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. Stephen Warnock Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. The 0-9 is sticking for a while. All media outlets are incapable of writing or saying anything about us without mentioning it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah we will limp over the line. There's been an upturn in form, but only temporary. We still have the same limited group of players we started the season with. Even at our worst we had about 9 points from the first 11/12 games so we will be fine, especially with our fixtures. Would expect 3 wins and a couple of draws. Considering we looked doomed going into December I'd be fine with this. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah would have made a huge difference to that team[emoji23] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. Would like to see a strong team, there's no reason we can't go there and win. Really depends on how the 2 managers approach it given its the winter break. Gunn Valery Bednarek Stephens Bertrand JWP Hoj Refmond Boufal Ings Adams Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  16. Let's be honest we won't get maximum points. Safety still has to be the aim. I'd be happy with 6/7. Still finding it hard to enjoy this season as I'm still in shock at how we have turned things around. Even at our worst we will pick up enough points to stay up. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. Cedric to Arsenal confirmed. Typical signing for them, not very good at defending. He's been a good servant but never been over convincing. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. Bowen off to West Ham. Would be so funny if they went down. The sort of player we should have been in for to do his 2 season prep for Liverpool Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. Let's not forget Everton paid a similar sum for Iwobi. Sadly for Hojbjerg his best asset is his passion, which is usually only effective for rallying cries on non-match days. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. 'Ole needs time' Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah the only positive is that they have won it in what's going to end up being a pretty forgettable season. All credit to them, despite hating them as a club they have a great team. But there's been little drama in it so far and there's unlikely to be any more for the rest of the season, they've won it at a canter. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. Is anyone able to explain how we are favourites with the bookies to win this, away at a team which has more points than us? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. A draw would be OK. Can't see us winning for next few games. A scrappy 1-1 will do. Lose this, then along with defeat at Liverpool we will be right back in the relegation mix. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Mourinho really is a bad loser. Spurs 2nd best throughout, and VAR clearly doing them a favour as there have been plenty of penalties given for similar hand incidents Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. We could get dragged back in to it, but 5 wins should be doable. Worth £20 quid though at that price. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
