It isn't so easy to just find replacements for the likes of Mane and Wanyama; they are quality players which is why we sell them to the bigger teams. We can only hope the black box is still working to help bring in someone. There aren't many players like Wanyama about, nor Mane. Stanciu is nearly done anyway, this one has confused me as i thought it was Bogdan Stancu, who we were previously linked with. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Bolasie is over rated. Too much hype, not a lot of end product. He seemed to come to prominence after making a fool of Lovren in a game a couple of seasons ago now. May be exciting at times, but way more inconsistent than Mane. 13 assists and 10 goals over 3 seasons for Palace. Mane 21 goals and 9 assists, despite going missing for 5 months last season.Very poor at Bristol City too. Would rather go for Burke, have watched him a couple of times, looks very dangerous, albeit in a lower league. Just the sort of player we can develop (and then sell to Liverpool. Liverpool and Everton both a goal down already. Good start Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

We started poorly last season, what was it, 4 points from first five games? We went into the WBA/watford games in early 2016 with about 20 points, and a lot of relegation chat. I do feel we look a bit toothless in attack, we will have to wait until the end of the window for something to happen. Puel hasn't been given a chance; he isn't a big name or a character, and as a result he appears to have been written off already. Let's not panic just yet Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Man Utd v Saints Post Match Hmmmmm.....
Saint_Tony replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
Nice in possesion but you just felt we were never going to score. We really need another creative outlet. Long had a great chance in the first half, but it was a **** poor finish. United look a different prospect this season; they were expected to win comfortably. There's no need for a meltdown yet, but 1 September that might be different. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk -
The coverage starts at 6.30pm, gives Sky plenty of time for a Zlatan ****athon. Utd priced just 4/9 to win, quite a contrast to the last couple of seasons. Think it will be a routine 2-0 win, would be shocked if we scored Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Clasie's never really got going. Wouldn't be bothered if he left, but then I doubt we'd have a replacement. I would still like to see 2 more signings, but can't see it happening. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

12th place minimum combined with any of the following; league cup final, FA cup semi final or Europa quarter final. Everton finished around 11th a couple of seasons ago but had a good Europa run and played their strongest team on thursdays. I would be happier for us to do this; finishing top 6/7 will be too difficult this year, I think we will lose a fair few league games if we stay in Europe. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

We're essentially just a improved and easy to use, but slightly more expensive, version of the black box for the top 6. Les has openly described us as a 'showcase' club and seems proud of that fact. I just struggle to understand how he can mention ambitions of Champions League football at the same time. Whilst we are moaning about all the players wanting out, what about those who are signing the contracts? Is it purely for improved wages, or maybe ambition, or maybe a promise that they can leave if a big club comes knocking at the door? Genuinely interested in whether some like Tadic and Long believe in the project or not. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Jack Schitt's levels of ITK seem to have gone to his head since the Euro's. The forum are hopeful he will eventually sort his head and stop posting such b0llocks. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Yoshida is simply not good enough at this level. Who could we bring in to replace Fonte at this stage? No one good enough in my opinion. I'm a bit concerned now; our squad on 1 September is going to be significantly weaker than last year. I am happy to give Puel time; he is getting unfair stick because he's not a big name and not much of a character. Fonte is such a presence on and off the pitch, worrying times. I think about 11th/12th, mainly due to our Europa commitments. Today has changed nothing, we had an absolutely dire 0-0 away at Watford last season early on. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

I already have Sky and BT sport so only use streams for our 3pm saturday games. Is there a best site to use or should I download one of these programs? Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

From what Guan has said, I think Hernandez fits. His description indicates to me a player who has played in PL then moved abroad. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

I think we all knew the Tadic contract was going to happen. With all the talk and ITK posts going on , it was a bit disappointing nothing materialised. However, the squad is in reasonable shape for our first few games, we really should be winning tomorrow. I have faith we still have a couple lined up, and although we won't perform as well in the league, I'm absolutely buzzing for the Europa League, and hope we take it seriously. I think so too. Still, sounds like this may be sorted very soon. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Leicester will return back to midtable. It was a freak occurence, which we may never see the likes of again I'm surprised you are shocked, seeing as you have spent the last few months moaning about our lack of signings. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Thing is, despite finishing sixth, you have the 'top six' (Utd, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool), then Saints, Leicester, West Ham, Stoke, Everton. I think the top 6 will take up those positions at the top. Would it be unrealistic for the others to finish above us? We may still do well in the league, but our chance to break the ceiling has been and gone. I'd be happy with 11th and a good cup run. Others seem to think finishing lower would be a failure, I find that ridiculous. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

The league is far more competitive this season, if we qualify for the Europa knockout or go on a domestic cup run, 11th place is reasonable. Decent article that, written by someone who seems to actually know his stuff, unlike a lot of media and pundits whose knowledge doesn't go beyond the big six. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Swansea with a couple of decent signings, hopefully we can do something similar. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Ziyech was mentioned a while ago by a poster. He's that player where everyone else has jumped on the bandwagon without seeing him play, and without there being any real evidence we are after him. Sign him up, Les Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Another defensive reinforcement, seems decent enough business. These 2 will have been easier deals to secure. A lot of people underwhelmed, but we still have a month to secure a couple of attacking options. If Les can sort that, it will have been another decent summer. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

He is irreplaceable. He is a leader both on and off the pitch. I believe we would struggle without him; this team has been built around a solid defence. He would be a massive loss Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

It is purely impatience, but it's understandable. We will only wait until the right players are available at the right price. I think we will sign a couple more, but it might be late in the window. We've not done a lot wrong in the last few windows, so we shouldn't be doubting Les just yet. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Sounds promising. Les' comments, however absurd they are, inicate that"s our midfield sorted, so I assume Tadic will be staying. Can't see us bringing in more than 2 players now. Bit riski imo, but we shall see. In Les we trust. Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
