It's going to go to the wire with the battle against relegation. Too many jumping the gun after 2 wins on the bounce. Ralph is clearly a good manager with good ideas but he is still working with the same 5hit group of players as his predecessors. I believe he can keep us up but he can't work miracles. Actually feeling positive about today and can see us getting the three points. Ralph Rabbithutch has already brought a great air of positivity to the club. 2-1 Saints. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

If we aren't winning then it's irrelevant worrying about the rest. We all thought Cardiff, Huddersfield etc. we're already doomed but they are all scraping a few wins now .There's no this team has some potential to improve, but whilst Hughes is still in charge then it won't happen. I know we got rid of MP in January and just got away with it, but it's almost too late already in terms of sacking Hughes. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

4/1 with the bookies to win; really does show how far we have fallen. At least Long is out so we may have a chance of scoring. Can see this being a 1-1 draw. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

We've won a few times up here in the last few seasons but sadly it's difficult to predict anything other than a defeat. It's early days but it seems we are carrying on from last season's dire form. 3-1 Palace (Zaha, Milivojevic, Townsend, Ings). Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Been saying for years he's not that good. He really is Championship level at best. Seems like a good lad who cares about the club but £10 million is a fair price. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal

He's the sort of player other teams' fans rate and would be excited about signing. In reality he isn't that great. If we can get £25 million for him then sell him. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk -
When he's on form he's one of our better players. But in all honesty he has a good game once in every four. Thanks for your contribution Dusan, but probably time to move on. He's been looking to move for a couple of seasons anyway Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

been saying for a few seasons he is Championship level at best. No doubting his dead ball delivery but he is so limited in other areas with a quite simply embarassing goal record. He's had around five seasons now and some of us still bring out the 'he's only young, he needs time'. Well sadly he's had more than enough chances. A good lad undoubtedly and cares about the club, but just not quite good enough. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

should be a good game. Whilst they are capable of putting 4 or 5 past us, I think Swansea will struggle to score more than once. How they must regret essentially throwing the game against Man City and shipping 5 goals in the process Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Have a feeling Swansea may play for a draw. We haven't got too bad a record there; off the top of my head can remember at least 3 1-0 wins in recent seasons. The same again would be great. Shane Long 81st minute winner Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Go careful, statto. You were almost in danger of expressing an opinion with your middle comment. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

We don't really deserve to stay up. At least Swansea put together a run for a bit. We've generally been consistently poor. Whilst I'd like us to stay up, relegation might be the wake up call we need. And in all honesty the top 5/6 are so far ahead of the rest its become a bit boring. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Don't think Huddersfield really matter as we are unlikely to get a result against City. 3 points on Tuesday is a must or we are down. Hopefully Swansea may set up for a draw. Their poor form seems to have gone under the radar as they have a charismatic manager. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

we have to go for it. A draw still puts too much pressure on us Tuesday night. Is a draw a disaster now? no. would i be happy with a point though? No Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

we have to go for it now, game is there for the taking.Win here and a draw on tuesday and we are fine. Our biggest 45 mins forva few years coming up. 1-0 Yoshida header Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

We really shouldn't be worrying about Stoke. We need to be getting four points anyway which should be enough to finish above them with goal difference. Plus that factors in them beating Swansea. Swansea and Huddersfield are the teams we should be hoping drop points. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

a lot will rest on the earlier games. Still trying to work out how we are still in this, we were near enough gone before kick off yesterday. A point might not be a complete disaster here. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

just got the insurance bets on. 10er on Swansea or draw at 7/1 and 20 on Swansea to score next at 33/10. Should ensure they don't get a result. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

however **** we have been, there is no doubt we are right back in the mix. Really didn't see this happening but Huddersfield right back in it and quite possibly West Ham too. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Alonso given 3 game ban for violent conduct. Shame it wasn't spotted during the actual game. Does this include the cup game? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Think we need to focus on ourselves before worrying about others. If I was a fan of any of the the other sides I'd be looking at Southampton and not being worried about them. When was the last time they won a game? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

I'm thinking relegation isn't all doom and gloom. More competitive and more regular games in midweek. Let's face it, we've had a good run and under Koeman were not too far off of CL qualification. We've had a (extremely disappointing) campaign in the Europa league and a Wembley final. For a club like ourselves we've done ok. The PL has become boring in the last couple of seasons; there really isn't even a middle tier, its the top 5/6 then a whole host of relatively poor sides. Ultimately, Les Reed has taken his obsession with 'The Southampton Way' and the business model too far. He has become arrogant and complacent in the last two years. This is what has cost us. So we head down in slight crisis, but if Reed leaves I am sure we can rebuild and come again. I think the gap is just too big now to make up. We seem to forget we are incapable of winning games as it is, and seem to be working on the assumption others around us won't pick up points. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Almost forgotten about Carrillo. Feel a bit sorry for him but it highlights how incompetent Les Reed has become. An absolutely reckless signing. Strong looking Chelsea team but they seem to have given up a bit (much like ourselves). Praying for a win today but its difficult to see it. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
