It's a strange place, the mods are very respectful to other teams and often shoot down overboard comments (unlike here). However, they lock the place down after a loss or when a player is leaving etc. Some of the posters are quite good to be fair as well.

I am firmly in the Virgil in camp. That said, given the options if Chelsea and Liverpool both make the same acceptable offer turn down Liverpool's bid out of spite.

In his first years I would agree, he improved markedly later when given a chance IIRC. Don't remember him playing in ages to be honest so maybe he is decent back-up now?

I'm not disagreeing, I understand the reasons he was let go. I personally would have given him another season is all. I think it takes more than one year to impress a style on a squad.
