  1. There's a poster we all miss
  2. The one article suggests it's the club who doesn't want to apply for a permit which confuses me no end
  3. I have two words for you.. work-permit. Any players that would be interested in us wouldn't be able to get one.
  4. Average age of our back line this year should be interesting Davis, Murty Thomas and Perry, (ok Harding's a bit younger.)
  5. Briefly reported that ourselves and Charlton were interested in him a week or so ago.
  6. Doubtless but the only way to achieve a good ROI would be a swift return to the premiership where the value of our club will far exceed the 12 million paid for it. Either way we're going up so I'm not too fussed and if we can do it while remaining a sure-fire going concern then all the better for our future as we won't be mired with debt when our "sugar daddy" pulls the plug.
  7. Blah blah blah sentimentality in football Unfortunately I agree with you it's a massive shame and I'm really sorry to see him go. You shall be missed Killer
  8. Permanent hmmmmmm Murty then.
  9. I didn't see the performance on Saturday but don't forget the same squad barring the addition of Harding lost how many pre-season games? I know I know new manager and all but the team does need work. That said I'm optimistic but I also was last year
  10. Remember Pardew saying that he was hoping to have his back staff in by Friday. As for players? Who knows?
  11. Sigh, see above
  12. Radhi Jaidi? http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=162849
  13. Apart from the little almost Tottenham blip
  14. In theory yes but Man City are offering silly wages.. Owners leave and the club tries to sell any players they'll first have to find a club willing to match the silly wages. Many players would much rather just run down their contract at city, what do they care if the club folds?
  15. BBC were reporting it at 3am this morning, they were the first I saw.
  16. Ahem... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  17. Agreement is frowned upon on this forum just so you know
  18. Ah, but what a game it promises to be
  19. As if the owners would be willing to pay the wages for league 1 anyway
  20. Your headline is quite misleading and made me very nervous for a couple seconds
  21. As soon as he stays for a few more years and manages to keep us in the prem single-handedly with brilliant midfield goals I might just agree with you
  22. ... We do support Southampton in fairness though
  23. Freerunning is a unique and bloody interesting sport.. Unfortunately it's also can be stupidly dangerous so having 13 year old kids jumping off rooftops can't be a good thing right?
  24. Ahhh, hooray for horrible mental images
  25. I wasted one of my valuable free posts to let you know you're a year closer to death.. Congrats
