Hoofeckinray!

No question about any of that, I just feel we are understaffed at cb. If, (god forbid,) Fonte gets injured who would be our top 2 pairing then? Martin and Seabourne? That doesn't inspire me with confidence, not because they're bad players simply because they're inexperienced.

He's 27, Jay Rod is 22 I think and Matynard is 24 I think? Not denying he's scored a couple of prem goals but I'd hardly say he's better value for money and his wages would doubtless be much higher.
-
I know, I know he's priceless guys, trust me on that But, in all seriousness, the last couple of weeks with his performances against Leeds and Ipswich in particular I've seen some frankly stupid comments thrown around such as "If Chambo is worth 15, then Adam must be worth 25 million." Bearing in mind he's 23 and not 19 I'd like to hear what you guys think Adam is actually worth as a player, (not his value to the team, again I think he should never be sold,) in the market. I'm sure I'll get slated for this, but my guess is 8-10 mill, let's hear what you Saintsweb geniuses think

Rickie's second was gorgeous... Placed brilliantly it just was sublime.

Ipswich 2 - 5 Southampton - post match fapping session
farawaysaint replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Hogan may be a little gay for Lallana considering how much he loves him That's ok, considering how much I love Lallana I'm now a tad concerned I'm batting for the other team as well. Between him and Rickie and even Connolly it's nice to have some heroes in the team again rather than journeymen and long may it continue! I'd like to see Lala get his testimonial here frankly -
Dunno if it's our Scouts, think it's our Claus freelancing for the club he loves He recommended a young Norwegian defender last year didn't he?
-
Apologies but it is new information. http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-sport/london-qpr/2011/08/16/qpr-plan-loan-swoop-for-southampton-winger-82029-29242800/? Let him rot in the reserves I say.

Fan's favorite, won player of the season a couple of years ago and runner up last year if I recall? He'll end up going to a lower prem team if he does leave, expect someone like Wigan or Sunderland/ Wolves to snap him up.

Connolly doesn´t like the "back from the dead song"
farawaysaint replied to St.Patrik's topic in The Saints
Especially one as sharp as Connolly is now O.o -
Fantastic to see him proving his doubters wrong, he could have chosen to pull a Puncheon and react to criticism by getting the hump and giving up. Instead he puts in a man of the match performance and has staked his claim for a starting place against Ipswich. That is the type of commitment I love to see in our players and was the reason less technically gifted players like Benali were loved by myself and almost all Saints fans.

It would not be a liability if there is no obligation to repay as IFRS requires a present obligation for it to be presented as such otherwise it would be an equity contribution. Whether it gets written off in the future is another matter entirely.

They're welcome to Ings, stroppy little git apparently.

Yes, I believe we are in debt. I also believe our benefactors are financing the debt and not the club. Our income certainly isn't supporting our spending at any rate but as long as the owners makle up the shortfall that's perfectly fine.

Oh good, up to 8 pages in a day and a half. This is the what I always wanted to be immortalized on the internet for

Jesus I love this club again

Burnley fans seem irate about this "Total disgrace - abolute quality player. Fox was worth much more that what we appear to have got - so why the sale with the season just starting?"
-
I don't question there are blacks involved merely that I think it's a symptom rather than the cause. The rioting and looting seems mainly to be perpetuated by poorer youths, of which unfortunately a considerable portion of the demographic is black. I also have seen it in certain areas that the opposite holds true and the majority of the rioters are young white kids again as they're the prevelant race in those areas of concern. It has absolutely nothing to do with race whatsoever.

Always had a soft spot for your posts alps, sure you're a depressing sod but you've somehow earned yourself a cult following by doing just that. All the best wishes for a speedy recovery to a "true Saints fan". (After following Southampton for any length of time it's surprising we don't all feel the way you do. )

Disgusting, at least some of them are trying to shout him down though. http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=363169

Hello Mr Chamberlain, bet your bank manager was happy to see you. If you expect me to insanely happy about a talented youngster leaving then you have rocks in your head. I would wish him well if he had handled the whole thing a bit better and as for Arsenal being the place to go out of all of the top 4 clubs and Liverpool it is the place at the moment I'd least like to be as a youngster. Particularily as a young winger when they have a 100 of them on the books.

Really annoyed but not much the club could do here.
-
It's insane, one good performance on television and I suddenly have all these people telling me just how fantastic he is and fans of other NPC clubs claiming they should buy him off us.
-
How the hell has he not generated stupid amounts of interest and speculation?

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration
farawaysaint replied to Cascadia Saint's topic in The Saints
I don't know what to say I'm not used to winning this early in the season. Aren't we supposed to have a loss followed by about 4 draws before we actually start playing?
