24, live in sunny South Africa, never lived in England but my father did the right thing and raised me to support the team he's supported for 40 years even if it has been a bit of a bumpy ride. Still, rather Saints than a plastic Man U or Chelsea fan like my friends I guess. I've only seen 2 games live the first of which was the Ipswich FA cup game 2 years ago where Thomas scored that fantastic rocket but I stream as many as I can or else listen live on the radio. I'd like to see the atmosphere at St Mary's when full though.

Never mind our thoughts on the matter I'd be so chuffed for Rickie, he seems such a down to earth guy I think he might spontaneously combust with pride and I think he'd put in a hell of a lot more effort than some of the overpaid premier league chancers.

Just how good is he? I had comments from a couple of Watford mates at the game that he seemed a class above (particularily his off the ball movement and his work rate.) They said he'll be in the premier league very soon wither with us or not. Soert of begs the question why no-one has taken a gamble before but he seems to be a great free signing. Thoughts anyone?

That cup final team was amazing when you look at the squad to think we had such quality, Lundekvam, the Svennsons, Niemi, Fernandes. Our weakest point was our forward line and Beattie was on fire at that stage, (Ormerod no comment )
