Africa has strong ties with Russia in general and has been turning more and more to both Russia and China over the last 20 years. On a slightly off-topic but incredibly irritating note the ANC youth league sent representatives to observe the Russian referendums in a disgusting display.

I know 3, in addition to lighthouses 4. One born in Crimea and 2 in the Donbas. One is fully up for the annexation and the other 2 against. Based on what my mates in Russia have told me this is rubbish as people with zero military experience are being called up. They bought the first ticket to Kazakhstan they could to get out.

So apparently the hidden clause on the mobilisation order was the number of people who could be conscripted… The rumour is 1,000,000 and not the 300,000 previously reported. Given Ukraine are currently killing circa 300 Russians per day this could prolong the special military operation for years. Yes I am aware of the low morale and training of conscripts along with the tooth to tail ratio required but still depressing.

So partial mobilisation then, the army reserves are being sent into Ukraine. Also threatening nukes again should Russia be threatened (of course the Donbas will be “Russian” after this weekend). For the first time I am actually starting to worry about this nut job. There seems to be no god damn off-ramp.

Isn’t this supposed to be his last season anyway based on his contract? Run it down give him a huge thanks and plan for some new blood. If he keeps us up another year and I have no doubt he will then I am largely happy with him staying on.
