Well, not so sure about that. Our present points total would often have us at the top of the table at this stage no? Or maybe second? But surely - at worst - not so many points off the automatic places. Saints are doing well - but Ipswich and Leicester are doing absurdly well.

It does seem like playoffs are the most likely now...annoying to go on such an unbeaten run and make such little progress up the table.

It’s pretty simple, no? If we are unbeaten v Watford, it’s our best unbeaten league run in over 100 years, but not our best run ever.

Sorry, am probably cursing this....but Sky are reporting that this (11 matches) is our best unbeaten run in 29 years. Anyone know how to find out what a 12, 13, 14, 15+ match unbeaten run would look like? I think our longest unbeaten run is something crazy like 28 matches....not expecting that....but am wondering at what point no one alive has seen a Saints run of this length without defeat (currently anyone under 29 years of age!)

If Alfreton get through, I can see it being a TV game. Saints v Walsall less so.
