  1. Time for a put up/shut up update from TL.
  2. Looks like Mark Fry has now joined the "scaremongering"! http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1703627,00.html
  3. So, do you think Fialka adds "weight" and "substance" to the Pinnacle bid??????? The fact that TL said it did surely raises questions about Pinnacle's credibility. That's just applying intelligence to the facts, not scare-mongering. Muppet.
  4. What a load of rubbish. Have you been following the developments at all? What we've heard from Pinnacle and TL is unravelling fast. TL's last statement on here makes no sense. We've been told that Pinnacle will complete at any moment, that the backer is worth a fortune, that staff will be paid. That seems, for the moment, to be total b*llocks. I don't care if we're a L1 club or a second hand car, the Pinnacle bid is descending into farce.
  5. On another thread, just a few hours short hours ago, you were saluting MLT given you now "knew" the identity of his mystery funder. Will your new info be from a more reliable source (for example, a source that doesn't provide you with info that is the 100% opposite of the truth?)
  6. This is the thing though - once the bid starst to look shaky, people will pour over other elements that don't stack up. The Fialka unveiling has gone appallingly badly from a PR point of view. I do think Pinnacle need to complete today or pull out. Nothign is going to happen between now and Monday to change things.
  7. I still don't understand this. Couldn't they make it explicit that the season ticket had this condition by, say, putting in very big, bold letters on the marketing material "BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK, WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ANY OR ALL OF OUR FIXTURES". Seems we have foregone c. £2m in revenue by not selling STs, so I guess there must be an absolutely compelling reason.
  8. If administrators worked for nothing when they were handling companies in crisis, it wouldn't be a very attractive profession....
  9. I guess they don't have to, but there isn't any money to pay them. Saints don't have their own sterling printing presses AFAIK.
  10. Does this also mean the players have gone without pay? Am less bothered on emotional grounds, but are they now free to walk?
  11. I'm interested in the possibility of some sort of AFC Saints option....
  12. The lottery is terrible odds, cos only 50% goes into prize money. You're better off trying to predict an excat score in one of the Wimbledon matches today.
  13. And presumably, he has been....
  14. Presumably, Fry starts to dispose of assets on the Tuesday...?
  15. My morale is hitting rock bottom. Maybe that's just a reflection of the negativity on the forum though rather than anything in the real world.
  16. sounds plausible.
  17. Any more pearls of wisdom? Tw*t
  18. Agree on some of the OTT stuff. But if Pinnacle have rolled out Fialka to enhance their credibility, then God help us. If TL believes Fialka adds "weight" and "substance" to the deal, I'm deeply concerned about how he got a visa to visit planet Earth in the first place.
  19. Can you sack him, then? If so, please do...what a tw*t....
  20. I might be persuaded to complain IF ever deal goes t*ts up. So far, I think Fry has been pretty excellent. I'm also not going to make a di*k of myself by firing off letters of complaint (a)before I know the full details and (b) possibly a few hours before a deal is completed.
  21. And other interested parties could apply for exclusivity immediately.
  22. Can this be blocked, removed or down-graded please. Not appropriate and not even remotely funny.
  23. If the Swiss consortium is serious, and really want to buy the club quickly, why not pay say £50K for a 96 hour exclusivity period? They could knock Pinnacle out of the ball park...
  24. Impeccably bad (good?) timing - see update on anotehr thread.
