  1. Budgie was great fun. When saints first choice keeper he came along to stoneham and played for our college team against a German college team. He turned up in old England admiral tracksuit, I'm guessing he played for England B team at some stage. He insisted he played up front even though we obviously wanted him to go in goal. From memory he scored a couple and was by far the best outfield player on the pitch. Can you imagine any current premier league keeper turning up for a knockabout game like this!! Just shows how much the guy loved playing football.
  2. Thanks "Len" great result!
  3. Len I'll take the ticket if still available? Just confirm on here if still available.

  5. Ordered 5 tickets for friends on 10th march and received them on Monday. The 3 tickets I ordered on 1st march (2nd sales period) haven't come yet. There seems to be a lot of people still waiting, so not worried too much yet.
  6. Too much for my wallet, but might be of interest to some. (ignore the fact it says Saracens it does link to JPT final). It all looks above board. http://www.chooseyourevent.co.uk/Saracens_South_%20Africa_wembley_stadium Wembley Pitch View Diamond Package - £209.00 (inc VAT) * Reserved premium ticket in the Pitch View restaurant (corporate box level - southwest corner of the Stadium) with tables overlooking the pitch Hot and Cold Buffet Brunch selection with complimentary beer/wine/soft drinks from 2 hours before scheduled kick off Half Time Freshly brewed & coffee served with biscuits (Cash bar available) Post match selection of afternoon tea sandwiches, gourmet pies and complimentary beer/wine/soft drinks (1 hour post) Match Day programme Guaranteed private tables for orders 8 or over
  7. Anyone know how many tickets will be available on Wednesay? Have a couple of mates after some.
  8. In blocks 528-531 (£34) with a couple of mates. For anyone intrested this link seems to show a better plan for how they split the £24 - £34 in the upper tier North and South Stands. The plan on OS shows all upper tier seats the same price, which they aren't! If you go for £34 seats you will be closer to the pitch. http://www.football-league.co.uk/league2/news/20090518/league-2-play-off-final-ticket-information_2248208_1660807
  9. Sorry should have made it clearer, you download the software from here http://www.audiofutbol.com/descargar.html Put your radio minijack output into the line input on your pc, you can then delay the radio input by about 10 seconds so it syncs up with the video on iraqitv. Just need to ensure you select line input as your source.
  10. http://www.audiofutbol.com/ I'm using this to delay radio solent 10 seconds from my radio, so I can watch the game with english commentary.
  11. When I was at Southampton Technical College 86-88, we used to see a lot of the younger players at the time such as Alan Shearer and Rod Wallace who were doing a course one day a week there. One of the guys on our course lived next door to John Burridge and somehow managed to persuade him to come and play for our Business Studies Team against a foreign college who were over. Well he turned up wearing an old Admiral England tracksuit (Not sure if he played for under 23's or B team?) and took it pretty seriously. Before the game he kept going on about how much he hated eye-ties (Italians) and couldn't wait to get stuck. I don't think he realised we were playing a German team! He played up front and from memory he scored a couple a goals. We had tried to get him to play in goal to start with, but he wouldn't have any of it. Anyway he was a good laugh and a really good sport for turning up. Can you imagine a first choice premiership keeper turning up for an eleven a side, 90 minute college match nowadays? I doubt they would even be allowed to.
  12. Kevin Moore scored with a huge leap, can't remember the other scorer that day
  13. For Christs sake give the guy a break. It seemed pretty obvious to me, considering he was a guest of Matt Le Tissier (Long term freind of Alan Shearer), what was meant by "from the horses mouth".
