Having just watched the highlights again can I reiterate - the ref was fucking shit. Awful awful performance, and I don't often bother making comments like that because we all know the state of them sometimes, and I do genuinely believe it evens out. But he was fucking awful, goal should have stood, Edozie should have had a pen and at least one of their players should have been off in the first half.

Actually genuinely love this team again. The squad just all going about their business. Lovely stuff. Fucking horrid cunts Norwich and fucking shitty ref made that an even better win.

I don't want to hear "Eckert is tactically inept" next time we lose, that "Azaz is a passenger" because neither of those things are true and today proved that. Nor do I think Azaz is the rebirth of Ronaldinho or Eckert is second coming of Alex Ferguson, its about the moderation between the two. That said those tactics, with that team was spot on today - and Azaz is an absolutely quality number 10 WHO at times can be a bit of a passenger. But when he's not he's a baller. Every man played well today, even Archer did his bit. Great performance and result. Peretz MOTM. Shout outs to pretty much everyone else but I did like the Bragg, Jander, Downes combo in midfield. Oh and Bree is a very good RB in this league.

Because we spent 14 games fannying around trying to play Fellows as a RB in a 5, at home to fucking Stoke et al. We can compete with them and are, as the form table suggests. Unfortunately that means shit if we don't go up BUT it gives me hope (that kills me of course) that we will be ok next season...

Agreed, and you know, he can get it wrong from time to time. He's been a top league manager for what 10 minutes - and yet we are one of the best teams in the league and are showing it. A lacklustre performance tonight, but some good subs to get a great point. Given some players are probably fucked from the weekend, I am ok with it.

Some weird reactions to Eckert on here as if mind were made up 10 weeks ago and not since we've been one of the best teams in the league. So odd. So to clarify, absolutely meh game from us (not that I am surprised really) but really the odd hate for setting up as we have, having not lost in 9 games (nope 10 now including cup), with our best potential line up. This for me, is our best starting 11 aside from Downes for Charles... Cue getting smashed 6-0. Balance is better and midfield cover is better But not having AA at least on the bench is an error even if he's fucking off elsewhere. That said, not even close to the error it'll be if we don't replace him.

It is and it isn't though I do agree with the sentiment. 4231 suits out personnel better but its not as simple as 541 = shit. It was fine in Tonda's first 9 games with the CB stepping forward into midfield and the front 3 playing interchangeably but we aren't even doing that anymore.
