Has Rickie Lambert got a realistic chance of being called up for England. If we look at past call ups. David Nugent was called up after performing well at PNE. Then Jay Bothroyd was called up after an impressive spell with Cardiff. In terms of quality (without any bias) I think Lambert is better. I also think his goals scoring record is better as well. When you look at performing England Striker we have Danny Welbeck, and Wayne Rooney. None of these possess a real aerial threat as a target man. Thoughts?
