  1. Complete spin, I do believe we were paying players out of proportion to our income, but this is like others have stated simply a way for Lowe to try and be seen as some kind of financial saviour while at the same time trying to dispose of the players the club clearly doesn't want on the books. Lowe was obviously hoping this statistical fact bending would go down well
  2. I would think about 50p would buy us outright, you'd have to have a screw lose to take on that debt with little chance of a return
  3. Interesting article, it seems our downward spiral couldn't have happened at a worse time with the finacial recession. I seriously believe should we not win two of the next three we will be playing in leauge one next season, possibly in administration too
  4. I agree, we would just be swapping Lowe for a Lowe puppet, pointless. In order for this club to move on we need all of them out Lowe, Wilde, Cowen, poorvliet, Woote, basically everyone linked with Lowe and maybe crouch too the slate needs to be wiped clean with a system in place, so these muppets can never again seize control of the club, then and only then will the club ever be able to move on However it just isn't going to happen
  5. Anyone else think it weird that we couldn't afford to keep stern yet we can pay skacel, he must be on at least as much money as john was
  6. er................ 4 - 1 spurs
  7. 2-1 to spurs
  8. yeah, I was geting all excited
  9. We do still have to play them though! just not till 25th April! only slightly out! :smt005
  10. oops
  11. We could be in for a difficult game
  12. Ask yourself this do you want to rely on a player that clearly doesn't want to be here, in this crucial relegation battle?
  13. I wish he'd go public with the real reason he left quicker than you can say revolutionary dutch football. Do ya reckon he's allready signed a NDA?
  14. Agreed he's fooked up big time! In all honestly he must be starting to worry by now, you'd think so anyway. He knows the majority will put the blame on him for such a catastrophic appointment, but then maybe that was his grand plan maybe he realises he is never going to be accepted and that he's thought to himself well if i can't have the club then i'll make sure that noone else can! ................ just a theory
  15. He has had some good games don't get me wrong, but if you balance it out across the season he is average at best
  16. Gonna stick for this but as I've always maintained rudi is a very overated player, looks unfit and and un-motivated, If its clear he doesn't want to be here fighting for the cause then he shouldn't be here
  17. I honestly don't believe he would score anywhere near the number of goals needed to keep us up. That said he is better than our other striking options.
  18. Is that why he won't make it 11 in 11?
  19. Wilde the ever silent chairman....... who does a runner on AGM day
  20. Why would a player who's goals effectively kept us up last season not be in his plans?
  21. Did it look good before then? (not being sarcastic)
  22. JP has got it cushty he knows damm well that its going to be very hard for Lowe to sack him, he has Job security thats rare these days
  23. You appoint the best man at the time for the job. Lowe clearly knew we were gonna be relying on youth and cheap players therefore it would have made sense to get get a proven 'motivator' someone who can get the best out of players. I just don't see that the players look up to Jan in any way unfortunately and you have to ask why that is? He seems blind to the fact his system isn't working. Wotton allegedly told Jan his system wasn't working and look where that got him.
  24. This is the deciding factor, So far I haven't seen any evidence of consistent managerials skills from Jan
