Saga doesn't want to play League 1 football and isn't playing tomorrow
Mr X replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Spot on. Saganowski obviously has the ability but will only use it when it suits him. Everyone should be honest and admit hes looked totally average at best in the championship. Why didn't he channel all that energy in to performing on the pitch that would have answered his critics instead of mouthing off to the media? That said i wish him well, at least its a high earner off the list -
Agreed but I feel if we are broken this time no ones going to be able to repair us, we will be way beyond repair!

There is absoulutely no room for error on our next managerial appointment get the right candidate and we could be back in the championship in two or three years get it wrong and it could effectively be the final nail in the coffin!! I'm scared to tell the truth as we haven't exactly done well on the managerial front other than a couple of exceptions. Thoughts?......................

It was, but i actually e-mailed him!

Saints 2-2 Burnley Post Match Reaction - Saints Relegated
Mr X replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Being thick but why did they get an extra seven point deduction? -
Rock bottom would be non-league we may have some way to go lets hope not

It may seem harsh but Redknapp (saggy face) is as much to blame as anyone else for our situation he came to us knowing his heart wasn't in it and that he was only doing it to spite pompey. You shouldn't take a job if you don't intend to give it your full effort especially not a job where you are in a relegation battle his petty actions cost us dearly. Not that im bitter at all
-
Agreed that was the one gem in a sea of fake gold
-
Is it a real possibility SMS may be sacrificed to save us? Its a terrible thing to say but I cant help feeling it all went downhill when we moved from the Dell. Would u be prepared to lose it/sell it for the good of the club? Where would we play then?........... thoughts? :smt102

After a shocking peformance at wednesday and news of our relegation do we deserve something back? or are the players not responsible?
-
Crazy as it sounds I wouldn't bet against woote wanting to stay! surely he can't though?
-
I dont think we are capable of playing well even when theres nothing left to play for, we will roll over and die in my opinion getting thoughly thrashed. I must be proven wrong!

You are forgetting that saga hasnt even been here for half the season, plus you are not comparing like for like either, current form is what we need to go on in these last two games. And i think mcgoldrick should go on the team sheet before saga just my opinion That's sort of my point. DMG may have scored more goals, but he has played in almost every minute of every game this season. I suspect Saga wouuld have scored a lot of the chances DMG and Robertson missed in the first half of the season. In recent games yes DMG has scored more, but who's to say that will continue. He has a habbit of scoring a couple, then going months without scoring, just like Saga can. yeah i got confused as to what you were saying apologies
-
season Saga has infact scored more regularly than DMG. Saga - 6 goals - 18 games - Scores 1 goal every 3 games DMG - 12 goals - 48 games - Scores 1 goal every 4 games DMG is just as guilty of long scoring droughts. Between 2nd November and 23rd March he scored 1 goal from open play (and 1 pen, which anyone could have taken). 1 goal in nigh on 5 months... current form is what we need to go on in these last two games. And i think mcgoldrick should go on the team sheet before saga just my opinion

Mr X - DMG showing more fight for the cause? :-s Over the course of the season, DMG has been the laziest player in our squad. Saga may be struggling to score, but he still puts 100% into every game. Agreed the effort used to be there from Saga but the last few months hes been shocking and lazy too. Mcgoldrick has started to improve and I think he will get better he will certainly be a key player in league one if hes still here. Strikers are judged on goals at the end of the day, Saga is the naturally more talented player yet hasnt been scoring to any degree of consistancy. so you have to say that Mcgoldrick has done very well with a lesser talent. I dont mind how lazy you are if you do that one bit of skill to score, raziak being the prime example
-
Unprofessional to make these statements, he should see out the last couple of games before giving any media interviews. This might explain why hes been so shocking the last couple of months his mind is elsewhere. It comes to something when a young mcgoldrick has shown more fight for the cause
-
crouch has just lost almost 2 million in shares thats probably why hes reluctant to bail us out on his own.
-
Ironic that we only needed to have paid the wages of stern and raziak and im pretty sure we'd have stayed up. I know we weren't in a position to do that allegedly. Would have been cheaper in the scheme of things though
-
The table doesn't lie unfortunately. We are exactly where we belong..... league one
-
WTF he's hardly set the championship alight has he? the last few months hes looked totally disinterested, but yes your right if he can regain a bit of form he has the ability for sure. As a high earner he will be one of the first to go plus theres no way he'll setttle for playing in division one anyway Ooops it says wages aside lol

It will be interesting to see where leicester finish in the championship next season will they be strong enough to challenge for a return to the prem?
