Is that even the official scarf? looks like one he's had knitted for him or bought on some dodgey market stall
-
comments that may contain some harsh language I'm guessing
-
Good to see he was actually in the stand rather than hiding away in a private box, wonder if he'd ever stand in the northam?
-
Was really pleased to see that! how often did we see Lowe wearing anything other than an sfc tie?
-
Thought the two long range efforts were impessive he definitely has the skill but didn't see him as man of the match for me, that was Harding less skill but he stuck to his task like a demon one of the best defensive displays I've seen from a saints player for a long time.

WGS was Just there because he/his daughter lives in southampton
-
Not sure if ya talkin about the example picture on here that I photoshoped or the one on the OS?
-
I always thought Niemi said to fans he would never cross the line to the fishy side. Oh well i guess it may be his last stab at the premiership can't blame him
-
I think something like this a much more simple classy design would have been better, you could wear it out with jeans too
-
just realised the top yellow bit is a weird shape too, looks a bit like they're wearing a sports bra!

Little point in reasoned debate with people who want to turn everything to their own view point best leave it be

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1743204,00.html I'm undecided at the moment quite like the Midnight blue and yellow color scheme but something about how the patch of yellow on the top of the chest looks just wrong, like its been plonked there with little thought behind it... thoughts?

Poor defence, even poorer front line
-
Play off potential! with the our current bare bones team! their having a giraffe we don't have the quality. Still can't get my head round the fact that we are owned by a ridiculously wealthy man, and no alarm bells have rang to buy quality players instead we are relying on the usual free transfer rubbish and old has beens. Don't get me wrong i don't expect us to be buying premiership ability players but we should be at least aiming to get the best available for this league.
-
ahh I get ya. Doesn't read that way though
-
In what way is it improper english? and who cares if someone isn't grammatically correct 100% of the time?
-
It's funny how they are in trouble for living way way beyond their means and we are partly where we are because he whom we shall not speak of didnt invest enough on players after our F.A cup final
-
particularly liked this paragraph "Now the s******s and laughter that greeted arch-rivals Southampton's brush with extinction over the summer have been replaced by a dread that it could be Pompey who are the ones to disappear off the football map". As much as I hate them I wouldn't want them to go under but they gladly laughed at us when we were on the brink of extinction guess it says a lot about their fans

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2009/08/05/hartbreak-hotel-115875-21572070/ Its seems things may not be rosy with our beloved neighbours down the road. But we wouldn't laugh would we? we rise above that

i think he did that with intent though

The whole point of my initial thread was to adress the question in-hand, it seems some people are incapable of that and result to having a cheap stab at students (not to say that they cant take a joke), Sure I agree some students do give the majority a bad name having a sole intent just to get wasted every night but most of them are foccused on improving their education and careers, what people seem to forget is that most of these students will leave 12 to £20,000 in debt and its a huge step to take that financial commitment. I just found it slightly unfair that being a student over 21 I am descriminated against but the majority on here dont seem to share that view so I have to respect that.
-
not very helpfull really just avoiding the real reasons behind the exclusion. I just don't get why mature students above 21 should have to suffer while under 21's don't. oh well the club have made their decision
-
i'm a mature (or imature depending on ya viewpoint) student I think in general £25 for a division 1 ticket is too steep, but then I guess the club is a business at the end of the day
-
I thought the clubs whole approach was to encourage more people to come. People on limited incomes especially. I dont see how the club can offer senior discount and not student its discrimination I tell ya!
