  1. That man is a mental case. In any other country he would be put into an institution. All of the Skate fans i know are embarrassed by him. I just wish the media would ignore him and let him live in his deluded little world.
  2. Well for what its worth i signed the petition. The cruise industry is worth millions and i for one would like to see it kept in Southampton, who havent taken a penny in government grants, yet have managed to draw in an industry which employs thousands of people and brings in a lot of tourists to our home town. Im sick of hearing about Liverpool and how great everyone thinks it is. Southampton has proved itself number one for cruises. End of.
  3. What chipshop did you work in hamster? I worked in the one in Netley from 1976-1980,after which my brother took over from me.I inherited the job from my cousin,so you could say it ran in the family. The couple who ran it retired a few years back, which was a shame because it went downhill after that.
  4. Does this mean that the club get charged everytime the wall is used? Perhaps as a cost saving measure by the club,it was decided we didnt need it?
  5. Seems to have a very high opinion of himself doesnt he?
  6. Lets keep it as it is. I think saying "Diiirrrrttttyyy"in a drawn out way adds to our disgust of the blue few.
  7. Brilliant post. When i think of our dark past and those who did their best to destroy this club,Lowe,Woodward,Clifford,Wilde etc,its seems like ive just woken up from a bad nightmare. Thank god we now have people in charge who know how to run a football club properly.
  8. My youngest son is at Chester uni and therefore i seem to always be up there doing stuff for him. I love living in Southampton and am proud of the fact, but i have to say Chester is so much nicer.
  9. Well said Macey. It seems that with the previous trouble at the last Pompey game and with what happened today, the police have lost any common sense. It does make you wonder what actually happens when they discuss the possibility of trouble at future games?
  10. I bet they are cut short, because when the Millwall fans started to cross the divide netting, the poor cameraman grabbed his camera and tried to protect himself before the police were able to restore order. It was only after about ten minutes did he resume filming.
  11. Toally agree with this.I took the Saints trust coach to Wolves when we beat them 4-1 and it was quite a laugh, with us getting to the game late, the coach getting pelted with stones by angry Wolves fans and us getting lost on the way back. The last time i caught a bingo bus was when we beat QPR and it was so ****e going to the game. You werent allowed to show any signs of life and to top it all,the driver put "Happy feet" on the dvd. Not the best way to get you in the mood for a footy match.
  12. I know its only been two games into the season, but it still feels great to see Saints at the top of the table and it makes it so much better that the Skates lost. I love weekends like this.
  13. Actually Dune if he wants to talk posh, then thats his choice.I just hate the fact he seems to think this gives him the right to take the moral high ground. The man is totally out of touch with the real world. He took part in a programme recently where he tried to teach a group of inner city kids(from London i think) and because he totally lost the classroom,he picked on a kid,who he called fat and lazy.He had no idea whatsoever how to converse with people. In fact he was so bad,he was asked to leave the classroom. But saying all that,he did do a rather brillant programme on the history of London.
  14. Totally agree with this. He is a snobby little man who seems to think hes better than most, because hes taught himself to speak posh.
  15. You are right of course, but if the car is in another name(the main driver on the policy),then as long as hes named, his insurance will be a lot cheaper. Its not a long term solution, but at least he can start driving without breaking the bank.
  16. Has he considered being a named driver on someone elses policy? It would work out a lot cheaper, though the downside is he would not build up a no claims bonus.
  17. Yeah it would be good to totally destroy any manufacturing base we have left, because thats what she did last time. No coal industry,no steel industry, privatised railways and utilities and a few shareholders taking millions from previously owned public companies. Many towns in the north of Britain have still not recovered from her disasterous time in power and lets not forget all of those riots in the early eighties. If the Falklands had not happened, she would have never had a second term. At the end of her term, she was not only hated by the public, but also by her own party. Do we need her back? Never!!!
  18. Is she dead yet?
  19. This is nothing to do with any "Do gooders",its just opportunist criminals who have discovered they can help themselfs while the police do nothing.
  20. Its on CNN as well.Theres a supermarket being looted and the police are doing nothing.Wonder what the Americans think of this?
  21. Cant believe this is happening in London now.Theres a massive building on fire on the news and the fire service cant get near to it because of the rioters.Someones going to get killed at this rate.
  22. We were also signing a lot of songs about Leeds (dirty Leeds, dirty Leeds) and a lot of Southampton songs as well. Perhaps that was filtered out on the telly?
  23. I agree that this docker thing is a total myth.In fact its always been the Southampton dockers who were militant and because they were on strike in the early 70s,P&O stopped sailing from Southampton and moved to Portsmouth instead. So whatever they think in Skatesville, they are wrong.
  24. Socialism is all about paying taxes, but making it fair for all,not allowing the super rich to get away with paying next to nothing.
  25. Havant and waterlooville lost 7-0.lol.
