  1. Yes i remember that. I was wondering how i would recognise him,but i guess he will be the one kneeing under Lowes feet.
  2. Doesnt the fact that our keeper was the MOM,and that QPR could have scored another four or five against us tell you something?
  3. Wont make much difference if we are relegated again.
  4. Well at least Scooby and Sundance wont be on here tonight trying to defend their master.
  5. Also if we continue with Lowe in charge we will go down. He messed up big time when he was first here and now hes back with his idea of "Total Football" ,he will relegate us again.
  6. Well that was a load of ****e and on tv again. Why wasnt Stern put on? Did we have a plan B? Looks like Holmes will be out for a while and we are still short in defence. Total football? Total humiliation. Thanks Rupert!
  7. Totally agree. I always thought that the most importaint thing was that Saints WON games and tried to get to the top of whatever league they were in. Lowe is just a jumped up accountant who thinks he can play at being a football manager, something he has proved hes no good at.
  8. Mate,we could go on about what did and didnt happen forever. At the end of the day it doesnt matter what you or i think because Lowe will do what he wants anyway. Hopefully even with Lowe here we will do well. But i cant help thinking we will struggle to stay in this league. Hope im wrong.
  9. Great memories saint lard. You can stick your glory hunters living in Southampton with their Manure and Chelski shirts. I would rather be a Saints supporter and take all the bad times, because when the good times eventually come, its all the more enjoyable.
  10. So in other words, its just what you think happened. Lets face it Hoddle may or may not have done a job again for us,(personally i dont think he would have done much here). But thats in the past. The thing now is to concentrate on staying in this league, which i think is going to be an uphill struggle now Lowe is back, because Lowe thinks about profit and shares before he thinks about the team. Its going to take more than a team of kids to bring back the winning ways and get the crowds back.
  11. Been impressed with Lowe? Using kids, Near the bottom of the table, Falling attendances, Brought in two Dutch unknowns, while letting NP go. Im surprise that anyone can be impressed with our incompantant Chairman.
  12. Actually Eyes K8 is right. But to that list i would add the Opium war,Sudan campaign, Zulu war and the Boar War. Theres a lot more i havent mentioned as well. Just goes to show that people dont need religion to kill each other, just greed .
  13. What is it with Saints?? We are short of decent defenders, yet we put all of our hopes on Svensson who has a bad knee. Oh wait a minute, hes injured again.Guess what with? We need competent defenders now.
  14. Actually bridge too far is spot on. I have no objection to schools teaching a little piece of every religion to kids, hopefully giving them a more rounded and tolerant view of the world. But after that if they want to opt out, then that should be fine. I dont believe in any type of god,but i believe everyone should at least know about everyones views.
  15. Firstly congratulations on your marrage mate. My lot and me are going to Goa next Feb (mother in law has a house over there),and there are beaches over there that are deemed some of the best around. Like most places that havent become over popular, the beaches are unspoilt, the food and drink are cheap and the locals friendly. We are going to hire a beach hut, where you spend a few nights at the waters edge watching the sunset and listening to the sea, while you have a drink or two in total seclusion. And of course the fact that its in India means its very hot, though it also means because i have red hair,i will go like a lobster. Anyway hope you both have a great time.
  16. I was having a conversation at work today with a driver from Skatesville that regularly visits our company and we got onto the subject of things we liked about where we come from. Now he mentioned their tower and their revamped dockyards and Gunwharf. I mentioned our history and the Bargate and the fact that all of the big liners come to us. But after he had gone it had me thinking. What would be my favourite thing about Southampton? Difficult question. What does everyone think?
  17. Thats right Totton Red. I wish us fans in the Northam did actually have a bit of power and could persuade Rupert by shouting ,because i would sing "Swing Lowe" a lot more.
  18. That makes three of us then.
  19. The weak board only have themselfs to blame,as does Lowe when he made mistake after mistake. To be fair Scooby,im not Lowes greatest fan but just as i was willing to give Lowe credit when things were going well,i will give him grief when he got things wrong. To blame the paying fans for mistakes made by those in charge is pathetic.
  20. Yes,please wave or hoot next time. It would be nice to put a face to a name.
  21. Thats great. The season we went down we had an underperforming team, three crap managers/Head coaches,a Chairman who didnt have a clue and a board who were weak. Yes it must be the fans fault.
  22. Im sure Wolves fans found no 3 comforting! aLSO ps HAD US WINNING IF YOU REMEMBER.
  23. Ha Ha! Have you and Scooby had a bet to see who can try and wind up the most posters? Please im not going to go over all of the Hoddle saga again.I think im more fed up debaiting that than i am arguing all of Lowes faults. So tell me again Dalek, its the fans fault because of what?? Fans actually PUT MONEY INTO THE CLUB,unlike Lowe.Fans are also entitled to an opinion,so if Lowe or the board listen or dont listen, its their decision.
  24. Blimey i am impressed. How did you know that was me? What car do you drive?
  25. You should try going over the Itchen Bridge, through town, then out towards Nursling. Just about every road has roadworks or a speed camera. Sheer hell!
