Very sad to hear this. My condolences to Bobs family.

Well i go to all home games and as many away games as i can afford.I dont think that makes me better than anyone else,but i can understand why people stay away. Apart from supporting the team, the other main reason i feel that encourages fans is the matchday experience.I think the experience Lowe used to promote so much is now sadly lacking. We have lost the Itchen North,plus most of the atmosphere(and the beer has gone up). The people in charge have to realise that there are a whole host of reasons(not just the team winning),why people have stopped going.

Try doing what my friends and myself are going to do. We have hired a limo and fifteen of us are going to Reading in style. Free drink all the way up and a guaranteed ride home too. Lets hope its a good result for us as well.

Im so glad that we won today and lets hope it boosts the confidence of the team and maybe the fans as well. But i think the real test will be on Tuesday against Norwich.

We played brilliant football,but were outdone by a determined Doncaster side who on the counter attack scored their lucky seven goals against us,even though we were unlucky when we had a shot against them, when McGoldric hit the ball against the corner post. Jan is confident about the next game and is already in the process of picking some random player to state his confidence about winning the following match.

I understand what you are saying sadoldgit and in a perfect world we would all be supporting Saints whatever league we are in. But we have all heard this so many times before. Theres only so many times that Lowe can try to treat SFC like his play thing and tinker and meddle by bringing in new coaches from other sports,or Dutch coaches no ones heard of. We didnt have much money ,even when we were relegated,but Lowe thinks its a good idea to spend hundreds of thousands on an eye dome.That got us a long way didnt it? Now hes back here preaching to anyone who will listen that we are in dire straights and hes the answer. No wonder fans are deciding to stay away in their thousands. Dont even get me started on that traitor Wilde.

Im glad Dyer is out on loan. IMO hes done nothing since scoring against Watford last season. Hopefully he will learn to curb his attitude and maybe even how not to get pushed off the ball so easily.

Absolutely spot on. These weird signings just prove to me two things,- Either Lowe is picking and choosing the team and who we bring in,or Portaloo is choosing the players,in which case we are f**ked either way because between them they couldnt even win a game of Subbuteo.

Surely there can be a solution that pleases us ST holders and hopefully can encourage more people to go to SMS. Perhaps lower ticket prices could be offered and to keep the balance,ST holders could be given a voucher for the megastore to cover the difference. Also free home cup games? We may not even get home draws,so the club would be in a win win situation. Just a thought.

Not if we are in league one. Whats the point? You hardly get any benefits having one now and what little consessions we had have been taken away by Lowe anyway. Im not paying hundreds of pounds to feel depressed every Saturday.

I dont agree with booing the team either,but i think many fans have had enough of the total dross we have had to endure at SMS. This total football thing is not working and was only attempted because Lowe went for the cheap option. Also if all those who are negative stayed away,then attendances would drop to lower than five thousand. I dont doubt for one minute that you care about the club S4INT,thats why you post on here,but you must see that Lowe is dragging us down yet again?
