The Skates being so up themselfs about the abuse their players get really takes the biscuit. As i said before i remember the hatred towards Redcrapp when he was with us and if i remember rightly,the threats from the blue few became so bad,that Saints had to hire a bodyguard to protect Saggychops.

This is a good point. I said the very same thing a while back. This cost cutting imo is a false economy because eventually if we fail,we will be a lot worse off. Yet if we took a chance and played PROVEN GOALSCORERS,then we may have been higher in the table and more people would be inclined to attend.

The fact that JP made three subs together suggests to me that he didnt have a clue how to counter the attacking threat from Coventry. If JP hasnt got any ideas how to learn from mistakes,( like playing one striker up front) ,then blaming the team when things go wrong will only have a negative affect.

But isnt that the very reason why Lowe appointed him?

But hes not very good when on a one to one and seems lazy,or wont pass. But apart from that hes ok.

To be honest i know the team seem to be playing pretty football and are trying their best,but i still feel the same this season as i did last season. I go to most of the games expecting the teams we play to beat us.

Actually i agree with Eyes k8 on this one. There were only a handful of Skates that broke the silence and every Pompey fan i have spoken to since were as disgusted as we were. Although i cant understand why they smashed up their own town when they won when we went down to FP?????

I agree totally with you CS. Come January we will be up the creek with all the loans going back and Lowe having sold any players that have made a difference. I guess the gaps will be made up by any academy players we have left. Great times to be a Saints fan.

Positives so far Kelvin-fantastic keeper.If it wasnt for him we would be bottom. Perry -I think hes the one decent defender we have. Lallana -great going forward and an asset to the team. Surman-great at running down the wing and crossing the ball. Apart from those ive mentioned,i cant think of any other players that make that much difference. Out of a team of eleven thats not a lot of positives is it?

Well we have two more games on tv. Lets hope we dont get thrashed yet again,twice more.

I cant remember the last time we scored from a corner,or defended well from a corner. I dont know what the players do in training,but it isnt working on set pieces.

I think our downfall was thinking we could send boys against men and expecting Kelvin Davis to act as goalkeeper and defence.

This is a very good post. James is too lightweight in defence and Gillett runs around not doing too much. We need better strikers and a better defence............oh and a better midfield.

Have to disagree with you Calvin. I thought BWPs looked like he couldnt be bothered(like everyother game hes been in this season). Can he actually run? I cant remember the last time BWPs looked like he wanted to play for us,which is strange because given his recent history,you would have thought he would want to prove himself.

Yet again we are humiliated on tv. I spent all of this week saying how good we were after Tuesdays game and now we end up playing like schoolkids on national tv. Why oh why does BWPs continue to get a game? I would rather play Stephen Hawkins up front than BWPs. Portaloo looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights.He just hasnt got a clue. Oh well. At least i have stopped letting Saints ruin my weekend.
