Makes me laugh.The police seem to move the goalposts when it comes to their versions of human rights. In my view,the police were wrong to film the Northam,especially when there was nothing happening at the time.

Shame Rickys passed away.RIP. I never had the pleasure of seeing Ricky Brown live,but did see Tex Roberg quite a few times at the Bridge Inn at Woolston in the mid/late 70s.Thats when Southampton had a lot of live groups,especially at the Guildhall where you could see proper rock n roll.Nowdays theres no decent live bands around Southampton.

The club are also trying it on when you try to get a refund on a normal matchday ticket. Despite being told by a person at the ticket office that they would definately get their money back,friends of mine received a letter from the club saying a "New policy",had been put in place(nothing on the official site), and no refunds are now given 24hours before a game. Interesting that the club still want to take your money,eventhough you havent watched a game. Saints customer service is non existant.

I dont see how Lowe deserves any praise?Unless of course you count getting us relegated twice a good thing?

In my book everyone is welcome wether you go to all home games(me),or only one per season. We are all there to support Saints and anyone who thinks they are any better than anyone else because they have a ST,is a deluded prat.

Probably has more to do with Prince William sending a personal plea to FIFA,than some EDL pleb on a roof.

I too agree with this post. A group of around ten of our regular crowd were up to going to this,but no way are we going to spend our hard earned money to then be treated like children(we are all over forty), by both the clubs and the police. Think we will all make a trip into town to watch the match in one of the pubs instead.

Has anyone ever had any trouble getting refunds on a matchday ticket before? Some friends of mine had some bad news on the day of the Middlesbrough game,so went to the ticket office to get a refund,as they couldnt now go to the game.The lady at the ticket office said they had to put it in writing to get a refund,which they later did. But now a letter has come,stating that if a ticket is presented for a refund 24 hours before a match,no refund will be given.The letter also said that this was yet another new policy from the club,yet i cant see anything on the official website? Seems a bit harsh if true.Surely this is a wrong way to treat a loyal fan?

That was a good post and lets face it with Coventry,"There but for the grace of god". I hope they survive and hopefully rebuild like us. It certainly makes you realise how lucky we really were.

Although i would like us back in the Prem,i worry about the price increase we would see.Hopefully the club will realise that many of us have supported the team through thick and thin,but i doubt it. I think if Saints followed the example set by Norwich,who actually treat their fans fairly,then i for one would be very happy.

Hope you down sit in the Northam Danny,otherwise you may have a few demented fans waving their STs at you!

Im a ST holder in block 42 and i hate it when fans in my block start waving their STs. My son whos had a ST since our Prem days and only didnt get one this season because of his uni commitments,was sat in block 43 and was called a plastic fan,yet the person who said it was leaving with ten minutes to go!!! These super dupa fans need to grow up.

As a Saints fan,i am the happiest i can remember. I am happy with the team,management and ownership. But as a loyal fan whos had a st from the prem down to League one,im a little sad that we dont follow clubs like Norwich,who seem to look after their fans with cheaper tickets and at least giving them more than a couple of weeks to be able to renew. Not a lot to ask is it?

When they realise that they represent the class system that has ruined this country,then perhaps we can move on.

Why not just turn off the pa system altogether,especially about five minutes before the game starts,when with the overloud music the club pumps out,nobody can hear themselfs sing and any attempt get a few songs going get drowned out.

Apologies if this has been posted before,although i cant find anything. Apparantly the new home shirts,if washed above 30 degrees in your washing machine,the middle "a" on the logo will turn pink.This has happened to a few people i know.But if you take them back to the Mega store,they are aware of the problem and will replace it with a new one for you. This has been blamed on a design fault which Umbro are fully aware of. HTHs.

I think Beattie may have something to offer,but as Lambert is our no 1 striker and when fit Connolly is also ahead of him,i cant see him sitting on the bench for most of the season.

I guess Cardiff have sussed us out.
