Lowe.... Go on now go... Walk out the door... Dont turn around now... You,re not welcome anymore!!!!
-
I should imagine Lowe will be outside the ground trying to give them away. Whos going to be mad enough to go to both games and see us get hammered twice? Apart from me that is!
-
Why do you say that? Did you see the game on Saturday,or most of our other games this season? We have a team full of kids who cant defend or score.
-
Absolutley spot on post. Lots of money seems to have been wasted on players we have not even used yet,or on players that are not so good as the ones already here, but all we hear from Lowe is how much we need to save money. Someones not telling the full truth. I wonder who that could be?

What will Lowes excuse be when Portvliet leaves "by mutual consent"?

While Lowe is still here,it wont make any difference if Portaloo stays or goes because no one of any ability will want to come here anyway. -
How many other clubs would have.......
rocknrollman no2 replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
How many clubs would have put up with Lowe again? Only Lowe could come up with an idea of appointing two unknown and untried Dutchmen. I think Saints fans have had more than enough, but instead of the protests of last time, people are just staying away and seem to be resigned to failure. After all we can protest as much as we want and it wont make much difference, where as if fans stay away, then at least they are making a statement of sorts against whats happening. -
I cant believe that us fans that are left, who still go to every home game, are getting the blame for being negative. I have had to endure some truely woeful games at St Marys this season and i think it speaks volumes that ive not heard any abuse aimed at the players(apart from calling BWPs lazy, but thats fair), and i stand in the Northam. In fact people behind me were singing that song about Mc Goldric being better than Beckham and this was just after he shouldve scored. It sounds to me that Portaloo is totally out of his depth and is using any excuse, rather than the real truth which is hes a s-h-i-t-e Head Coach. Its a dangerous tactic to blame those of us who are left for the clubs problems, because i for one have had enough of this failed Lowe experiment.

Totally agree. Also we have our worse Chairman of all time in charge as well.
-
As Give it to Ron and others have said, treat it as a new opportunity and maybe even try to take a new direction. Ive been made redundant twice and both times i thought it was the end of the world, but in the end it always turned out better in the long run. Anyway i hope you find something better soon and good luck for the future.

Who cares? He should have been sectioned long ago.

Most programmes from 76 usually get about £6-£10. Unfortunately most other people dont seem interested about our cup win.

Are we better off than when Crouch was here?

The only negatives you will find when asking the "ordinary Saints fan" in the street why they are not supporting the team, will be, 1-Saints are losing too many games. 2-Rupert Lowe. Sort out those two problems and i bet you will see St Marys with at least another ten thousand in attendance. -
Thanks Arizona for clearing that up. Although i was at the game,it seems an age ago and for the life of me i couldnt remember the half time score. Although we werent 2-0 down,we still made a decent comeback.
-
Like i said on another post,i cant remember the score before the final result(2-1?),but didnt we come behind against Blackburn in the first game at SMS in the 2004/5 season?

I was thinking the same thing and then remembered our first home game of the 2004/5 season? against Blackburn, when we won 3-2. -
Drink Whiskey, feel frisky. Well i do anyway!

Fantastic win and to think i was so fed up at half time. Very happy tonight and may even watch our five seconds on the Champoinship tomorrow. Well done Saints and well done to the fans that made the trip. Off for a beer now. -
If Lowe had got more things right than he got wrong, then there wouldnt be any anti Lowe agenda would there? As for you second point, surely its ok to judge Lowe on his failed past record and to judge him on his failures now?I dont think hindsight comes into it,just common sense, something Rupert seems to know nothing about. I thought Burley was a good apointment at the time and how i laughed when Rednapp came here, but while i dont blame Lowe for appointing them,i certainly blame him for things like Wigley and for meddling too much in team matters. Also did you think it was a good idea bringing Lowe back with his past record? Hes failed before, splits the fanbase and has no idea about running a football club. But hey, perhaps i should take your advice, not moan, pay my money and watch my club go down the pan?
-
Add me to that list.
-
lol!!!!

Lowe puts away the instructions hes received from Portsmouth FC,which state.. "Now agent Rednapps left, finish the job of running SFC into the ground!"

Not so sure if we were better when Crouch was here. But i certainly felt a lot more happier. -
Top post and i agree with every word. Also like Teddy Nutkins point about the free buses.
-
I should imagine Portaloos pre match speech is something like......... "Thanks Rupert for your talk to the lads.Ok everyone remember what Rupert has said. Now go out there and dont forget at halftime we have custard creams."
-
So theres no one else on the board who would be more popular than Lowe? This is the same failed Chairman who divides the fanbase and is the reason many dont go to games, because he is there. He gets rid of a popular manager, then brings in two Dutch unknowns to implement a so far failed experiment,at a time when we shouldve been trying to build on our place in this league. As for doing a good job, well if you think by getting rid of ALL of our top goalscorers will keep us up,then i would have to disagree.Sometimes you have to speculate to accumilate. If we dont score goals,we lose games, fans stop coming and we go down. Im sorry but he doesnt know what hes doing.
