So when we were 3-0 up against Leeds,Rednapp didnt change the team around and the result was we lost 4-3? Face it, the man was a disaster for us,never really playing our strongest team,bringing in crap players who were worse than we had and publicly blaming the team when they lost. I stand by my previous statement,good manager my arse!!!

The last game we played in the prem against Manure was a golden opportunity to stay up.The Mancs were not bothered about the game and were there for the taking.But instead of playing the type of players who would have put up a fight,good ole Arry put out a team of players who couldnt gve a toss. Good manager my arse!

I think the priority should be for the government to cap what they pay to private landlords.The rents these landlords charge for basic accomodation is a scandle and they know they can get away with it. If the government said they would only cover a certain amount,then they would have to charge a lower rent or risk not having any income at all.

I thought he showed a lot of pace and linked up well,while making a lot of runs. He can only get better as he learns the English game. In my opinion he has made a great start.

I say kill the music at least 5 mins before kick off. Theres been many a time when the crowd has been trying to get a few songs going,yet get drowned out because of the pre match music blairing out. Rather than enhancing the atmosphere,i think it kills it.

What i want is for them to have to sell their better players and limp along with the younger/fringe players they have left.Let them last just long enough until they come to St Marys when we thrash them 4,5,6 nil. Then knowing all is lost they can be relegated or just go out of business.

Personally i think it would be better for humanity to have Dune put down.

How can the state say its wrong to kill,yet then say ,ok we will kill you for killing someone else? The death penalty has never stopped anyone from killing and it never will. We are supposed to be cilivised and above "An eye for an eye". If we go against this,then we might as well follow the nasty road to sharia law.

When we turned up,i was impressed with their ground.The stewards were helpful and their fans were friendly,especially when we mixed with them in "Dicks bar." But after we had a few beers and we went to our seats,i was very disappointed with the stadium itself. They only seem to have one main home stand with what looks like two very small "stands" to its left and in front of it.Our stand was ok,giving a good view of the pitch,although it did seem small. The way the ground is built also allows all of the sound of both sets of fans to go straight into the air,so you cant hear any songs. If i was a Brighton fan,i would have expected more,but considering their lack of a proper ground in the past,i guess they are grateful with anything.

Agree with this. We had lots of chances and should have scored in the first half .If D urso had not sent Rickie off because of the cheating tactics of Brightons no 6,then we may have won.Though i was disappointed by our lack of options on the bench.

Great post Gemmel and a big thankyou to everyone at Southampton fc for putting a smile back on my face at home games and giving me bragging rights at work.Its been a very long time since,as a Saints fan i have been as proud as i am now. My only disappointment has been the Skate game and last night(spent the day telling Bristol City fans how we would easily beat them). Still,we see in the new year at the top of the table. Tories always look after their own. They made money on the backs of others and one of them even went to prison and was fined £5 million,yet still gets an award. Pathetic.

I think all of the big supermarkets should be made to close over Christmas and only allow the small local shops to open,thus giving them a chance to survive.

If that was the case,then surely it would have been banned outright? Can someone please tell me why the hunting lot are not happy with the ban how it is now?No jobs were lost,like the pro hunting lot said there would be and no animals had to be put down in their thousandsIf you want to wear silliy clothes and chase things on a horse,then you can still do this.No difference at all,unless you actually enjoy watching some defenceless creature being torn to shreds?

How is hunting cost effective?Surely it costs more to have horses,dogs and all of the people who follow hunting,than just setting a few traps,or even by shooting foxes? People who hunt do so because it gives them enjoyment,it has nothing to do with cost. You do make a very good point though about the way our meat is farmed and i agree with you that another way must be found.I never knowingly eat anything i think has been treated inhumanly(though i admit thats difficult to find out sometimes). As for the hunting ban,most people i know agree that it should stay,nut i guess thats the circles i move in.You could probaly find friends to support your stance. I dont think the ban was intolerant,it was just about stopping cruelty and suffering.
