  1. I understand what Docker is saying and he makes a valid point. But as we dont know exactly whats what at the moment,im just hoping MLT knows enough about them to give his backing. Hopefully we will find out on Monday(though which Monday is anyones guess).
  2. For what its worth i am fed up with going around in circles about the good/bad things Lowe/Wilde/Crouch have done. I will be very happy if we can all get behind a new improved, born again Saints team and hopefully us fans can do our bit to get us out of League One. After all we are all Saints fans. I know we dont agree on much Crab Lungs, but on the old Saints forum i remember saying if we ever met, then i would gladly buy you a beer. That offer still stands. (Just dont mention Rupert).
  3. Well said Crab Lungs. I think the best thing we can do for now is to become united and hopefully move on as a united fanbase and as a club. It would be nice to be able to put the last five years well and truely behind us.
  4. I would like to offer my thanks to Stu for putting into words what i am feeling. But i would also not only blame the players for milking SFC for as much as they can,i would also put the blame on all of those who thought they could make easy money out of Saints FC. Those who did a bad job,yet still got paid loads of money, wether it be former Chairman, managers, boardmembers, players or even failed comedians. You know who you are. Shame on you!!!!
  5. I must admit i was surprised that the players hadnt taken a pay cut or even defered their wages for a while and im even more shocked that no one at the club had the bottle to even suggest this. But the biggest surprise to me was that the club didnt ask the players to reduce their wages because it might affect their performance. Ha! Priceless.
  6. Ha Ha. I had a £10 bet with a Leeds supporting mate at work.I said they wouldnt get promoted. Now what shall i spend my winnings on?
  7. Oh well, another day listening to every news break on the radio at work again.
  8. Why so touchy? Im not suggesting anyone did ask for money, thats why i didnt name the person i was told about. As i said in my post "i dont know if its true". Wether its true or not, theres obviously something wrong down at St Marys if rumours like this are branded about, dont you think?I thought those days were gone with Rupert? As ive also already stated i had actually bought tickets for this match as i thought it would be a good day out,but it seems a lot of fans had their reasons to why they were not going.I was only saying what i was told(also by a steward as well). Im glad you have put the record straight Mr Osman and im also glad that everything is above board. But as i didnt actually accuse anyone,i dont appreicate the threats. Oh while im on here Mr Osman if in the future you and your friends want to put on a charity match, why not publicise it a lot better? For instance whos playing other than five named people might help.
  9. Very sorry to hear this terrible news. RIP.
  10. My mates and me had already bought tickets, but a lot of people i know didnt think it was worth going, especially when they were told that while the ground staff were working for free, a certain high profile person had asked for £500 expenses.Dont know if this is true, but from what ive read on here and been told by sms staff,a lot of people seem to believe it. I want to do everything i can to help save Saints, but i feel the generousity of us fans is being taken for granted by certain people.
  11. Ha! I dont see Lowe trying to save Saints now.In fact all i see Rupert doing is blaming everyone from the fans to the tealady,to why we are in this mess. Lowes presided over two relegations and one administration and yet people on here still think hes done some good. Priceless!
  12. Good point. The support is there ready to fill SMS.All we need now is the right backing and a winning team.
  13. As long as they dont live in the Channel islands.
  14. I dont think we should keep Wotte.Ok he seemed to talk the talk, but we still lost too many games because the players didnt seemed bothered. That suggests Wotte couldnt motivate them enough. We need a clean sweep. What we need is someone who knows this league and someone who has contacts, maybe a loan player,or a helping hand from an old mate at another team. Half the battle of being a good manager is the people you know.
  15. Not having a go at LM or anyone else, but surely seeing that the staff ,stewards etc are all working for nothing,it would be a nice gesture that no one claims expenses?
  16. Its ironic that Lowe took down a picture of LM and replaced it with a train,as Rupert has been riding the gravey train that is SFC ever since he first came here. Thank god hes finally gone.
  17. Keep your records upright in their sleeves and make sure they are not in direct sunlight. Also dont clean them with any solvents. Hope you enjoy playing them.I personally prefer records to those cd thingys.
  18. Didnt Le Tissier score a hat trick for the England reserves, even single handedly taking on the defence before banging the ball into the back of the net,yet Hoddle still didnt pick him for the England first team? Seems to me he either didnt know as much about football as he thought he did,or he was petty and vindictive. Either way im glad he didnt come back.
  19. You call it bile, but most on here would call it truth.
  20. Probably just been told he wont get paid this month!
  21. Must admit my mates and me went on the p-i-s-s in Nottingham after the match. It certainly made me feel a lot better until i woke up this morning. To be fair i have been drinking a lot more this season. It seems to dull the pain of watching Saints.
  22. I think if we could make a super team out of all the players in Man U,Arsenal and Chelsea,Lowe would still manage to send us down.
  23. Good point.I didnt know who the Chairman was,but back then the Chairman didnt do his best to try and see how many times he could get Saints relegated.
  24. Just got back from the game(stayed overnight in Nottingham),and i just have to say our support was fantastic. I wont mention the game,as other posters have already done that. But what i will say is that two things really made a bad day memorable. The first was when we were leaving the ground,it seemed that all of the Forest fans stood up and clapped us out. That made the hairs on my neck stand up. The second was while i was looking out of my hotelroom window, the Saints coaches were passing through some traffic lights, while a crowd of Forest fans stood clapping. As the last coach went by,a blue bus full of Saints fans followed with one lad mooning out of the window. Mate if thats you and you read this, thanks for giving me a good laugh.
  25. I totally understand where Windmill is coming from.Like it or not he is right. The fooball league will never go against one of their own. What ever happens,we are still in League One and the Burnley result will still stand,as will the non action against the player who fouled Wotton will go un noticed. I dont like it anymore than anyone else, but thats the way the game is now days. The way the FA treats Saints, dont be surprised if we see that idiot of a ref presiding over a few of our games next season.
